The Ex-Husband's Apology (by Sebastian Grey) novel Chapter 99

Chapter 99

Jennifer went just to please her grandfather.

But just to save face for grandpa.

“Do you need to stay overnight?”

Jennifer just asked, and Brayan chuckled.

“Were you looking forward to it?”

Brayan looked at her with cold eyes, but the smirk on his lips made her feel like she was growing grass in her heart.

Jennifer turned around and walked away, with Brayan’s voice trailing behind

“Remember to pack clean clothes.”

Closing the office door. Jennifer couldn’t help but regret if she had agreed too hastily.

When it was time to clock out, Brayan showed up at the entrance of the design department as usual.

Catalina packed up her things and was taken away by Brayan, all her colleagues envying her with smiles on their faces.

Jennifer also wanted to leave, but she received a WhatsApp message from Brayan asking her to wait for him at the office.

She replied, “Business or personal?”

Brayan: Private matter.

So Jennifer didn’t wait.

Today she didn’t have to work overtime, so she was planning to take

the bus or subway home. But before she could make a decision, a black Passat appeared in front of her.

The driver was Jamie.

“Ms. Griffin, please get in the car.”

“No, thanks.” Jennifer politely said. “I’ll just take the subway by myself.”

“I wasn’t offering you a ride.”

Jamie’s words left Jennifer feeling confused.

“It was ordered by Mr. LeBlanc.”

Jennifer’s face changed slightly.

Although she didn’t want to be controlled by Brayan, she also didn’t want to make things difficult for Jamie, so in the end, she got in the

car.

Jamie took Jennifer to a mall and dropped her off directly at the store designated by Brayan.

Jennifer saw Brayan, who was late, and found it a bit funny.

Brayan could have just given Catalina a ride home when he was dropping her off.

But maybe it was because Catalina didn’t want to, or maybe it was because they were afraid of people in the company misunderstanding.

In short, compared to Catalina, his mistress, his wife was only worthy

of being driven to the mall by an assistant.

He was more like a lover.

Seeing Jennifer looking a bit unhappy, Brayan took the initiative and said. “You can pick any clothes here, I’ll treat you.”

The usual indifferent attitude, yet as always charming.

Jennifer knew that Brayan gave her clothes to see her friends.

Brayan’s reaction was pretty flat.

Jennifer thought it was pointless to bring up Catalina herself, making it seem like she was jealous.

On Saturday, Oasis Golf Club.

Leonard Mayer and Valeria Walter were really good at playing golf, and Brayan was pretty good too.

Jennifer was like a sidekick.

She actually learned a lot when she was young, but she wasn’t good at everything.

She played golf just okay.

Four people had lunch together, and after that Jennifer and Brayan took a walk hand in hand.

This intimate look was obviously for friends to see.

“Look! That girl over there just got a hole–in–one!”

Leonard shouted excitedly.

The whole stadium was buzzing.

Brayan also looked in that direction. In the moment when the girl turned around. he naturally let go of Jennifer’s hand.

Jennifer’s golf game was just okay, but she knew that getting a hole–in- one was the most exciting moment in golf.

She never expected that the person who received the highest honor would be Catalina.

“Brayan!”

Catalina was waving her golf club excitedly at Brayan, but she didn’t

take a single step.
