After discussing the divorce with Cynthia, she immediately began having someone draft the complaint.

“Yes, I think we can’t keep dragging this out forever.”

I flipped through the complaint she brought, then looked up at her. “Whatever materials you need, just tell me.”

I just wanted to get rid of all this as quickly as possible.

“I want to finish this lawsuit as soon as possible. Do you… have confidence?” I asked tentatively.

Cynthia was silent for a while, looking at me carefully.

“If you can prepare your medical records from when you were receiving treatment, there should be an eighty percent chance of winning.”

I had already had a premonition in my heart. After so many years of marriage, I had never gotten pregnant despite various treatments; not to mention those years of separation and my severe depression-all of this was there as evidence.

I nodded: “Okay, I’ll send them to you after I prepare them.”

Cynthia added: “If you have evidence of Ferris being with Ashley, or other evidence of him treating you badly, that would also help.”

I immediately understood what she meant and laughed coldly: “I’ll find them.”

“Should I submit the complaint today then?” I asked.

“Good, I’ll cooperate with you.”

Meanwhile, Ferris had no idea I had already filed for divorce in court.

After handling work, he rushed back to the villa.

I had already returned first. Although the heating was on full blast at home, I was still curled up in the corner of the sofa, wrapped up tightly.

‘Have you eaten?” He approached and asked in a low voice.

I looked up at the sound and glanced at him: “Yes.”

He walked in front of me, seeing me lying on the sofa, and unconsciously curved his lips upward.

“I haven’t eaten yet. Let’s go eat together.”

“I don’t want to go,” I said quietly.
