He smiled helplessly, gently stroking her little head, "Don’t worry. Once we leave the city, I’ll make sure to cook delicious meals for you again."
Lyra immediately brightened, smiling happily and leaning affectionately against Orion, her small eyes closing in enjoyment as he continued patting her. Orion gently smiled seeing her peaceful face.
After the meal, Orion took Lyra on a leisurely stroll around Silverfall City, introducing her to numerous fun and entertaining places.
Lyra laughed and skipped joyfully throughout, her cheerful and innocent face earning smiles from the surrounding passersby, further warming Orion’s heart.
Soon, the sun dipped below the horizon. Orion led Lyra to an inn nearby, quickly renting a luxurious room for their stay.
Upon entering their accommodation, Orion knelt down to gently instruct Lyra with a patient, caring tone, "Lyra, be good and stay in the room for now. I have some important things to handle outside. I’ll be back shortly, alright?"
Lyra tilted her head curiously, but obediently nodded, her eyes filled with trust, "Alright, papa!"
Orion sighed once more at the familiar title, "It’s big brother."
He softly patted her head again, leaving her with a reassuring smile before quietly exiting the inn.
After coming outside, his gentle expression slowly changed, replacing with a mocking smile as he said to himself, "Viscount huh... Let’s see what gave you the guts to oppose me."
Orion’s figure slowly melted into the surrounding shadows using his newly learned Shadow element, becoming an indistinct phantom that silently traversed through Silverfall City, heading directly towards the Viscount House Bellgrace.

Meanwhile, deep inside the manor, within a lavishly decorated chamber, a young noble with a swollen, bruised face lay on his bed, eyes bloodshot with fury as he roared hysterically,
"I WILL KILL HIM! I WILL BUTCHER THAT BASTARD! HOW DARE HE HUMILIATE ME IN PUBLIC! HOW DARE HE, HOW DARE HE, HOW DARE HEEEEE!!"
Standing beside the bed was a stern middle-aged man with an equally livid expression, Viscount Bellgrace himself. Clenched fists trembling with suppressed rage, his voice was icy and threatening, "He has crossed the line this time! Does he truly think that just because the Helstorm House backs him, he can bully my Bellgrace family without repercussions?!"
An elderly butler, dressed immaculately, stood by the Viscount’s side, his aged features calm but stern. He bowed respectfully, cautioning them carefully, "My Lord, please reconsider. If Orion Helstorm meets harm within the walls of Silverfall City, it will bring disaster to our house. We would have no plausible explanation to offer House Helstorm."
"Instead, it would be better to wait until he leaves the city and is traveling through the forest. Bandits are known to plague the region; it would be simple to arrange an accident and blame it on them."
Viscount Bellgrace visibly calmed down at the butler’s wise words, the tension easing slightly from his rigid shoulders. Nodding slowly, he responded grimly, "You’re right. We must not be impulsive. After all, that esteemed lord has already given us his orders, we cannot afford any missteps."
Hidden within the shadows of the room, Orion stood silently, his cold eyes flickering with disdain and amusement at their futile plotting.
He had arrived a while ago and had heard their entire conversation clearly. ’Still daring to scheme against me?’ he inwardly sneered, contempt evident in his expression. ’You truly don’t know what’s good for you.’
He remained still a moment longer, hoping they might reveal some useful information about this mysterious ’lord’ who was pulling strings behind the scenes.
However, as the conversation shifted toward comforting the young noble’s bruised ego, Orion’s patience swiftly wore thin.
Without hesitation, Orion activated the Silent Hall Cube, isolating the room from the outside world completely.
Stepping forth from the shadows, his appearance instantly caused the three figures inside to stiffen in disbelief.
Orion raised a hand calmly, snapping his fingers gently as he whispered softly, [Crimson Nova].
Instantaneously, a tiny crimson spark flicked forward, silently landing on the elderly butler’s robe.
