Isolde wrinkled her eyebrows, and a flash of disgust instantly surfaced on her warm and light face.
She didn’t even bother to say the words of refusal to him and turned around to walk towards the bus stop in front of her.
Just as she arrived at the bus stop, the car for her appointment arrived.
Isolde pulled open the door and got in.
The net car drove toward the hospital.
The Maybach followed……
Arriving at the hospital, Isolde had just stepped into the elevator when footsteps came from behind her.
Refracted through the mirrored elevator wall, Isolde saw Vincent.
She purses her lips and ignores him.
Vincent walks in, sweeps her lightly, and then walks up to stand behind her.
Six or seven more people came in behind her, and the elevator became crowded all of a sudden.
The older woman in front of her was on the fat side, so Isolde had to move back a few steps.
The back of the man’s firm and broad chest, if not immediately close to.
Vincent was a full head taller than her, and she could vaguely smell the familiar, faint minty scent of his body.
Images floated through her mind.
She thought of the past five years, when she had tied her husband’s tie like a normal wife who was about to leave for work.
He would also be like a normal husband, before leaving, wrapped his arm around his wife’s waist and lowered his head to kiss gently…….
Now that she recalled it, it was really ironic!
Isolde retrieved her thoughts and forced herself to ignore the person behind her.
The elevator arrives at the floor where Alexa is hospitalized, the double doors open, and Isolde quickly heads out.
Vincent didn’t follow this time, but just stood still and watched her back.
She no longer turns around, her gradually walking away back isolated by the closing elevator doors.
Isolde told Mary to go back to rest and come back in the morning.
Not long after Mary went back, Karina came.
The two went to the kitchenette and closed the door to talk in hushed tones about what was going on online.
“Doris posted a little long post in strong support of you, but I don’t think she wrote it herself, I think she got a professional to ghostwrite it!”
Isolde clicked on INS and found the little long article.
Read it in one glance.

It was quite satisfactory.
“She deleted the previous dynamic that vocalized on your behalf, obviously she’s weak–minded!” Karina snorted coldly, “Those ambiguous words she made earlier seemed to be speaking up for you, but in fact, the suspicion of leading fans to question your character was high!”
“But it’s strange to say that once Doris‘ little long article was posted, all those negative opinions about you and Aunt Alexa were gone, and the hot search was pulled clean, as if there was someone behind this manipulation?”
“I think Vincent did it.”
Karina was surprised, “Huh? He actually helped you?”
“I threatened him.”
Karina’s eyes widened as she looked at the bland Isolde, “Sister, come on, how did you threaten him?”
“Public opinion is a double–edged sword, Vincent and I are not officially divorced yet,” Isolde looks at Karina, “What do you think, what are they most afraid of?”
Karina snapped out of it and gave Isolde a save.
“Doris is really a death wish, Vincent protects her everywhere, her son is born, after five years of suffering, she is finally going to be on top, who has a better life than her in the whole of New York! She’s just being a good actress, isn’t she? Nothing to provoke you this ex–wife why!”
“Everyone has selfishness.” Isolde’s tone was light, “I don’t want to compete with her, but it doesn’t mean she’ll think that my existence isn’t a threat to her.”
“You’re right!” Karina nodded, “After all, you’re still Mrs. Williams in name only, and that alone is enough to make her anxious!”
Isolde pursed her lips.
If she could, she would have preferred to have never been this Mrs. Williams.
Karina could see that she was in a bad mood, helpless and unsure of what to say to comfort her.
Three days later, Alexa reports out.
Arthur goes straight to Karina.
Karina sees the report and immediately calls Isolde.
Acute leukemia, middle to late stage.
The news came as a bolt frem the blue. Isolde couldn’t believe it.
But the report was in her hands.
It took her a lot of effort to find her voice, and she looked at Arthur and asked, “Can it be cured?”
“The cure is definitely possible, but your mother’s body is weak in general, both radiation and chemotherapy are extremely challenging for her, and the best treatment option is a bone marrow transplant.”
“Bone marrow transplantation…… “Isolde’s eye lashes trembled, “Is it okay to use my bone marrow?”
“The kinship match value is higher, but it’s not absolute.” Arthur said, “You can do the matching first,”
“Okay, I’ll do it……”
“Are you crazy?!” Karina reminded her, “Have you forgotten what you’re in for?”

Isolde certainly hasn’t forgotten, “I haven’t, but I have to save my mom.
Karina frowned, “But you……”
“Karina, don’t try to persuade me.” Isolde was adamant, “There is nothing more important than saving my mom.”
Arthur looked at the two, always feeling that there was something big hidden between them?
