“Reginald Taylor.”
Isolde’s eyebrow jumped, “Reginald the porcelain sculptor?!”
“Right.” Cassius raised his chin slightly and arrogantly said, “But for the record, it was only by virtue of my superior talent that I was spotted by Mr. Alexander and taken in as his closed disciple!”
Isolde resumed her usual warmth and gently nodded her head, “I see.”
Cassius choked and frowned as he stared at Isolde.
This senior of his seemed…a bit interesting!
Cassius says he’ll take Isolde home.
Instead, Isolde says, “Let’s go back to the studio first.”
“The studio?”
“Didn’t you bring the Buddha statue?” Isolde turns her head to look at him, “I want to see the real thing first.”
Cassius smiled, “Okay.”
He was actually a bit impatient to see what Isolde was really capable of.
She wanted to see what kind of talent could make Mr. Alexander, who was always strict and stern, still remember her even after five years.
When she arrives at the studio, Isolde changes into her work clothes.
Inside the restoration room, Isolde opens the artifact container, puts the porcelain statue of Buddha on the operating table, scans –
Data analysis, transfer computer.
“The degree of physical damage is more serious than that seen in the photo, the repair is very difficult.” Isolde looks serious, “This porcelain carving process is the most primitive, some raw materials may still be hard to find.”
Cassius put one hand in his pocket, a look of watching a good show, “Saying so much, you’re not going to tell me that you can’t restore it, right?”
“It can be fixed.” Isolde removes her gloves and looks up at Cassius, “But it will take some time.”
Cassius: “Teacher said to give you half a month at most.”
Half a month?
Isolde purses her lips and says, “It won’t take that long, it can be fixed in a week.”
Cassius: “?”
Half a month is what he intentionally understated, the actual time limit given by the teacher was one month, after all, the raw materials to be
used to restore the Buddha statue can be hard to find.
With Mary guarding the hospital, Isolde stayed at the studio, while Cassius found a hotel nearby and stayed there.

Chapter 54
The next day before six o’clock, Isolde was woken up by the ringing of her WeChat voice phone.
After Cassius left last night, she went online to look up some more information and didn’t go to sleep until two in the morning.
She pressed answer in a daze. “Hello?”
“Don’t sleep……” came Cassius‘ breathless voice from the cell phone ring, “Come to the hotel and save me
Isolde frowned, “What’s wrong with you?”
Ive been pooping all night… Cassius‘ weak voice carries a hint of resentment, “Did you add laxatives to the French food you ate last night?”
Isolde:……
Isolde takes a taxi to the hotel and takes Cassius, who is white and needs assistance to walk, to the hospital.
After paying the bill. Isolde walks back with the slip.
At the door of the emergency hall, she met Arthur and Vincent.
They were talking, and when they saw Isolde, the two men’s voices stopped.
Isolde ignored Vincent and gave Arthur a slight nod, “Dr. Arthur.”
Arthur smiles warmly, “Ms. Isolde, you’re at the hospital so early?”
“A friend is sick, I accompanied him here.” Isolde replied back in a faint voice.
“Friend?” Arthur glanced at Vincent.
The latter looked indifferent, with an air of unconcern.
“Ahem.” Arthur cleared his throat and looked at Isolde, concerned, “Is your friend okay?”
*IES, not a big problem.”
Arthur nodded, “That’s good.”
