Chapter 90

Isolde stopped looking at Vincent and turned to walk forward shakily.

Isolde!

Karina caught up with her and helped her to the car.

Vincent’s eyelashes fluttered and his long legs just took a step when Arthur, unable to look away, stepped

forward to stop him.

Vincent, forget it, you’re not the one she needs right now.

At that, Vincent’s face was grave.

Arthur looked at him like this and hated him a little, But you’re too bad at talking, just brushing off your

presence when you poke your head in there, it’s really quite infuriating!

Vincent glanced at him, his face grim and ghastly, not saying a word.

Arthur sighed, the more he thought about it, the more outrageous it seemed.

It’s really not that I’m talking about you, the matter of you and Isolde’s hidden marriage was hidden even

from me! Now when I think about what I said last time in the hotel, I just have two black eyes, no wonder Dr.

Karina looked at me with that kind of look at that time, Vincent, you’ve killed me ……

Vincent is not in the mood to listen to Arthur’s complaints right now, he takes out his cell phone and dials a

number, Call a search and rescue team for me, the cost is not a problem……

Three days of search and rescue, Isolde is either waiting by the river or at the police station.

Karina simply applied for annual leave on the hospital side and kept watch over Isolde every day.

On New Year’s Day, the person in charge of the case told Isolde that the search and rescue had stopped and asked her to express her condolences.

Isolde didn’t say anything, When she came out of the police station, she said she wanted to go to the

supermarket.

Karina knew she wasn’t in the right mood, all the emotions she had suppressed since Alexa’s accident.

It was far more disturbing than crying out.

But Karina was clueless.

Isolde closes her mind, calm as a senseless puppet.

While shopping at the supermarket, Isolde picks out all of Alexa’s favorite foods.

Karina watches on, her nose sore.

After shopping and returning home, Isolde went straight into the kitchen and got busy.

Karina was afraid that she might be in a trance and have an accident, so she stayed by her side and helped

her with the work.

The night gradually fell, and all the lights came on.

Isolde finally finished the New Year’s Eve dinner.

She took three pairs of dishes and set them up, and greeted Karina as she sat down.

Karina sat down, looked at the table full of New Year’s Eve flavor, color and fragrance of the food, but did not have any appetite.

Isolde put a few pieces of fish into the empty bowl next to her, and put a bowl of soup next to her.

Karina watched, her nose so sore that she couldn’t stop her tears.

She said, Isolde, don’t be like this, cry it out, if auntie sees you like this, she will be heartbroken……

Isolde looked up at Karina, her pale lips hooked up in an arc, and smiled, I’m fine, quickly eat.

She clamped a piece of lion’s head and put it into Karina’s bowl, This lion’s head is your favorite food, I specially made it for you so that you won’t say that I only know how to make what my mom loves to eat.

Karina looks at the bowl of lion’s head and her teary eyes flow even more fiercely.

Isolde frowned and glared at her, If you keep crying, I’ll blow you out of the house do you believe me?

She said and put some more of Alexa’s favorite dishes into that bowl.

Karina watched her movements and pursed her lips hard not daring to make another sound, but the tears simply wouldn’t stop.

Isolde no longer cares about her and lowers her head to eat by herself.

This New Year’s Eve dinner was very quiet and depressing.

Karina’s tears mixed with her rice, eating in more tears than rice.

Isolde ate a lot.

But when she was cleaning up the dishes, she covered her mouth and rushed into the restroom and threw up

all over.
