Mr. CEO Your Wife Has Wanted a Divorce for a Long Time (by Zora Pradeep) novel Chapter 247

Chapter 247

Chapter 247

Wilson Group’s tech company was one of the leading companies in the domestic tech field, owning numerous core technologies and patents. Their upcoming product had already caused a stir internationally.

The moment Franklin mentioned the idea of collaboration, Johnny already knew what the proposal

would be.

To be honest, Johnny was quite tempted.

Moreover, as one of the top domestic companies in the industry, they had a responsibility to elevate domestic products to the global stage and increase their international influence.

For domestic innovative products to truly reach the world’s forefront and be recognized globally, one company couldn’t do it alone.

It required companies to support each other, to collaborate and win together on a technical level.

So even though Johnny had reservations about working with Franklin, he didn’t need to discuss it with Maggie. He already knew the answer in his heart.

He simply said, “Now’s not the right time to discuss the collaboration. Mr. Wilson, why don’t you come by

Cole tomorrow to talk about it?”

Franklin wasn’t surprised by Johnny’s response.

He smiled and said, “Alright, we’ll leave it at that for now.”

Johnny, feeling a bit displeased, replied coolly, “Is there anything else, Mr. Wilson?”

Franklin shook his head. “No, that’s all,” he said before adding, “Sorry to bother you.”

With that, he didn’t look at Maggie again and, along with Julia, turned to leave.

Before leaving, Julia glanced at Glen and Harry. Glen, noticing her gaze, turned his face away.

Harry didn’t say anything.

Chapter 247

Maggie drove to the company, and as she got out of the car, she bumped into Franklin and Chad, who had just gotten out of the car as well.

Her hand hesitated slightly as she closed the car door.

She knew that Franklin would be coming to the company this morning to discuss the collaboration, but she hadn’t expected him to arrive this early.

Seeing her, Franklin said, “Good morning.”

Maggie didn’t reply and instead turned to walk toward the company entrance.

Since leaving Wilson Group, Chad had rarely seen Maggie.

In his mind, she was still the same person who always wanted to be close to Franklin.

Wearing high heels and light makeup, Maggle remained as beautiful and composed as ever.

Glen found it difficult to look away from her stunning profile.

He kept his gaze on her until he noticed Franklin seemed to be looking at him. He quickly shifted his gaze to Franklin.

When their eyes met, Franklin smiled but said nothing.

The elevator arrived at the floor where Cole was located.

Maggie didn’t look at Franklin as she stepped out of the elevator, and since Glen had work to discuss with her, he followed her.

Watching their retreating figures, Franklin withdrew his gaze and followed the receptionist into Cole’s meeting room.

They waited for over ten minutes before Johnny finally arrived at the company.

He entered the meeting room and, upon seeing Franklin, said, “Sorry, Mr. Feng, I’m late.”

Though he said that, his tone was cold, and there didn’t seem to be much apology in his expression.

Chad, who had been following Franklin for a long time, had seen all kinds of important figures, but he had never seen anyone who dared to treat Franklin this way.

He frowned at this thought.

Franklin, however, seemed unbothered. He shook Johnny’s hand and said, “I’m not in a hurry, it’s no problem.”

Johnny didn’t particularly like Franklin, but since he had already decided to collaborate, he wanted to get to the point as quickly as possible.
