Chapter 135
“I’m close,” he ground out, his movements growing more urgent. “Are you?”
My entire body was trembling, oversensitive and overwhelmed. “I already came,” I whispered, barely able to form the words. “I can’t
“You can,” he insisted, his fingers working faster between my legs. “One more time for me.”
To my shock, I felt the pressure building again, impossibly quick. My body responded to his command, tightening around him as a third orgasm crashed over me, more intense than either before it.
“That’s it,” Caelan hissed, his own control finally breaking. With a guttural groan, he stiffened behind me, his release pulsing deep inside as my body milked him dry.
For several long moments, we stayed frozen, both of us gasping for breath. Slowly, carefully, he withdrew from me, turning me in his arms so we faced each other.
I sagged against him, my legs too weak to support my weight. Without a word, he scooped me into his arms and carried me to a nearby chair.
Instead of sitting beside me, he knelt between my legs, taking my hand and guiding it to his still-hard length. Despite having just finished, he was already stirring back to life under my touch.
“Again?” I asked incredulously.
His only response was to guide my hand up and down his shaft, which grew fully erect in moments. The heat of him burned against my palm, and despite my exhaustion, I felt desire kindling anew.
He lifted me once more, this time bringing me down onto his lap as he sat in the chair. I straddled him, sinking down onto his length.
This position gave me more control, allowing me to set the pace. I rolled my hips slowly, savoring the feeling of him stretching me open again.
Caelan held me close, his face buried in my neck as I moved above him.
I increased my pace, chasing the building tension. My thighs burned with effort, but I couldn’t stop, didn’t want to. Caelan’s hands slid to my ass, helping lift me up and down on his shaft.
The chair creaked beneath us, our bodies slick with sweat as we moved together. When I felt myself getting close again, I clung to him, burying my face in his shoulder to muffle my cries.
“That’s it,” he encouraged, thrusting up to meet each downward movement. “Let go for me.”
The tension broke in a rush of pleasure so intense it bordered on pain. My entire body convulsed, inner muscles spasming around him as I came undone completely.
Caelan followed immediately, his release triggering the moment my body clenched around him. He groaned my name, holding me so tightly I could barely breathe as he pulsed inside me.
When it was over, I collapsed against him, utterly spent. We stayed like that for several minutes, heartbeats gradually slowing, breathing returning to normal.
“I don’t think I can move, I mumbled into his shoulder.

Caelan chuckled, the sound vibrating through his chest. “Then don’t.”

Eventually, he stood, still holding me in his arms, and carried me to the bathroom. The warm water of the shower felt heavenly on my oversensitive skin. He washed me gently, hands careful and tender where they had been demanding only moments before.
After drying off, he helped me into bed, tucking the covers around me with unexpected sweetness.
“This is not going to become a regular thing, Caelan,” I warned, even as my eyes grew heavy with exhaustion.
He smiled, brushing damp hair from my forehead. “Next time I’ll be gentler, baby. I promise.”
He pressed a kiss to my temple before straightening up. “I’ll make you something to eat. You need to regain your strength.”
I nodded, already drifting toward sleep.

Sable’s eyes fluttered closed. I couldn’t help the satisfaction that washed over me at the sight of her-thoroughly satisfied and utterly exhausted.
I pulled the blanket higher around her shoulders before stepping back. She needed rest after our intense lovemaking. And food, when she woke up.
I made my way to the kitchen, mind already cataloging what ingredients we had available. Something light but nutritious would be best. Perhaps a soup or-
A sharp knock at the door interrupted my thoughts.
I frowned, glancing at the clock on the microwave. It was late-not a time for casual visitors. The knock came again, more insistent
this time.
After checking that Sable was still asleep in the bedroom, I approached the door cautiously.
I opened the door, ready to dismiss whoever stood on the other side.
My body tensed immediately when I saw him.
Darrell stood in the hallway, holding a pristine white pastry box tied with blue ribbon. French macarons, judging by the fancy lettering on the side. His eyes met mine with poorly concealed shock before hardening into cold hostility.
“You,” he said, voice dripping ice. “How are you here?”
I leaned against the doorframe, deliberately blocking his view into the apartment. Only wearing sleep pants, my bare chest exposed the fresh marks Sable had left during our intense lovemaking-nail scratches across my shoulders, bite marks along my collarbone, and several hickeys decorating my throat,
Darrell’s face went ashen as his gaze swept over the evidence,
“Your manners seem to have disappeared completely.” I crossed my arms, watching his jaw work as he processed what those marks meant. “When you see me, what should you do first?”
He straightened, attempting to regain some dignity.

“You know what, Darrell? I was just thinking about what could possibly ruin my excellent mood.” I smiled coldly. “Turns out it’s a stray dog showing up at my door.”
“How dare you?” His knuckles went white around the pastry box. “Just because you’re King doesn’t make you better than everyone else. I’ve already submitted my application to the werewolf council to withdraw from your jurisdiction. Once it’s approved, you’ll be nothing to me.”
I let out a bark of laughter. “Submitted an application? Listen to yourself-once it’s approved. Which means right now, I’m still your King.” I commanded. “Now kneel.”
The command carried all the authority of my bloodline. Lycan power slammed into him like a physical force.
Darrell’s legs buckled instantly. He hit the hallway floor hard, the pastry box tumbling from his hands. His whole body shook as he fought against the compulsion, but his wolf knew better than to defy a King.
I looked down at him with satisfaction. “Much better. Your body has more sense than your brain.”
