Chapter 77
“I’m fine.” He shook his head, but his face had gone pale. “Are you hurt?”
“No, just scrapes. But you-
Less than two minutes later, Rodrigo arrived with security personnel.
“Sable! Dad rushed over to check for injuries. “Are you all right?”
‘I’m fine, but Caelan was injected with an unknown substance. The drug appears to be an aphrodisiac.”
The security team had already restrained the unconscious attacker.
“Take him for interrogation.” Rodrigo’s voice was ice-cold. “And get our best doctor immediately.”
Caelan sat heavily on the stone steps, his face flushing red. “Sabi, I’m burning up.”
I examined Caelan briefly, confirming it was indeed causing arousal symptoms. “Dad, don’t call a doctor. I’ll handle this myself. I need to get Caelan out of
here.”
Rodrigo looked puzzled. “Sable, Caelan doesn’t look good. Are you sure you don’t need another doctor’s help?”
I stammered a bit, too embarrassed to explain that no doctor could solve this-only I could. I gave my father a vague excuse and left with Caelan.
I gripped the steering wheel tight, my knuckles turning white. Every few seconds, I checked the rearview mirror to see Caelan. He didn’t look good.
“Too hot… it’s too hot, he mumbled, twisting in the backseat.
His fingers pulled at his collar, then fumbled with his jacket buttons. “These clothes… they’re too tight.”
Caelan, hang on. We’re almost there,” I said, trying to keep my voice steady despite my growing concern.
The temperature inside the car seemed to rise with each mile. A strange scent filled the space-something primal and unfamiliar. I couldn’t place it.
Caelan’s eyes caught mine in the mirror. For a split second, they flashed gold. My stomach knotted.
“Sable… I feel strange… Pain laced his words as he pressed his forehead against the window.
I spotted the hotel sign ahead and immediately flicked on my turn signal. “Almost there now, I breathed, relief washing through me.
I half-carried Caelan across the lobby, his weight growing heavier with each step. My arm ached from supporting him, but I tightened my grip.
The receptionist looked up from her computer, eyes widening. “Do you need help?’
“My husband has a fever. We need a room right away,” I blurted out, already fumbling for my wallet. The lie came easily-anything to get us out of sight quickly.
Each minute of checking in felt like an hour. When she finally handed me the key card, I practically dragged Caelan into the elevator.
The doors had barely closed when he wrapped his arms around me from behind, pulling me against his chest. His heart hammered against my back, his skin burning through his clothes.
“Don’t leave me,” he whispered against my ear, his breath scorching my skin.
I felt his entire body trembling against mine. “I won’t leave you. We’ll be in the room soon.”

His lips found my neck, trailing hot kisses that sent electricity down my spine. My pulse quickened, body responding instantly. I pushed against his chest.
“Caelan, wait. We’re still in the elevator.”
The bell chimed, and I almost sagged with relief. ‘We’re here. Let’s get you inside.”
“Here, lie down, I guided Caelan to the bed. He collapsed onto the mattress, chest heaving with each labored breath.
‘It’s too hot… Sable…” His voice cracked as he stared up at me with desperate eyes.
I turned toward the minibar. ‘I’ll get you some ice water. Just a second.”
His hand shot out like lightning, capturing my wrist. With one quick yank, I lost my balance and tumbled onto the bed beside him.
‘Don’t go,” he growled, his voice barely recognizable.
I saw him fighting against whatever was happening. With what seemed like tremendous effort, he pushed me away. “You need to leave… I can’t control myself much longer.”
I met his gaze without flinching. “I’m not going anywhere. Let me help you.” I moved closer, softening my voice. “Remember, I owe you one.”
Before he could protest again, I pressed my lips against his.
The dam broke. Caelan flipped me onto my back, pinning me beneath him. His kiss turned demanding, hungry, his tongue pushing into my mouth. I opened to him, matching his intensity.
His hands moved to my dress, pulling it down to reveal my lace bra. His eyes darkened at the sight.
‘I need you. Now, he panted between bites along my neck.
I worked at his belt, tugging down his zipper. I slipped my hand inside, finding him hard and ready. Caelan growled, quickly tearing off his remaining clothes.
Every muscle in his body stood defined in the dim hotel light. His cock stood fully erect, impressive and intimidating. I couldn’t help but lick my lips, parting my legs in silent invitation.
Caelan lowered himself over me, his mouth capturing my breast through the lace while his hand traveled beneath my skirt. His fingers traced the outline of my underwear, discovering how wet I already was.
I arched against his touch, a moan escaping my lips. “Stop teasing… I need you…”
With a swift motion, he tore away the thin fabric barrier. His fingers slid inside me, testing my readiness.
I rocked against his hand, my nails digging into his shoulders. “Caelan… please…”
He withdrew his touch only to flip me onto my stomach. Positioning me on my hands and knees, he entered me from behind in one powerful thrust.
I cried out, clutching the sheets to anchor myself as pleasure crashed through me. Caelan gripped my hips firmly, establishing a relentless rhythm that sent the headboard slamming against the wall.
“You feel so tight,” he rasped, his voice thick with desire. “So fucking perfect.”
I pushed back against him, matching his pace. I looked over my shoulder. “Harder… don’t stop…”
He bent forward, kissing my spine while one hand reached around to cup my breast. The sound of skin against skin filled the room, punctuated by our shared breaths and moans.
Waves of pleasure built within me, climbing higher with each thrust. “Caelan… I’m close…”
My body tightened around him as release claimed me, sending tremors through my limbs. Caelan groaned at the sensation of my pulsing around him.

He turned me to face him, and I immediately wrapped my legs around his waist, drawing him deeper. Our mouths met in a clash of tongues as he drove into
me with renewed force.
I grabbed his ass, urging him on. “Oh… yes… deeper, Caelan.”
He increased his pace, his movements growing erratic. With several final, powerful thrusts, he buried himself completely inside me. I love you, Sabi,” he
groaned as he found his release.
We clung to each other, bodies slick with sweat, hearts pounding in tandem as we caught our breath.
The respite lasted only moments before his eyes darkened again. “That wasn’t enough…”
