Sparks of lightning danced in Sylas’ eyes, a sharpness radiating from him until his skin almost looked like it was outfitted with a thin layer of glass. His hair had practically become sharp strands of crystal that slowly faded to its original black. And yet, from time to time, as the sun continued to rise over the horizon and its rays beamed through their filaments, it looked as though the effect had remained.
Sylas exhaled a breath, the fogginess of it sparking like thundering rain clouds from the corners of his mouth. However, he seemed completely unimpressed.

It was about as he expected. Every time he had an enormous breakthrough in his Glassvolt Aether Path, his Gene Class followed along. This was even more exaggerated than the Glassborn Cryst Emperor Raw Template he got from his rewards.
Essentially, his ability to progress his Gene Class forward was far superior to practically anyone else due to these two Seeds within him. However, despite having the Chaotic Simioid Raw Template, his Primal Lord Gene Class was still Silver and lagging far behind.
But he knew how to fix that.
He looked toward Khan.
"How do I get to Ape Warlord territory?"
Khan was still in the middle of blinking. "Aren’t you going to... absorb that?"
His gaze shifted toward the Gold Gene in Sylas’ palm.
"I haven’t decided yet."
There was a flicker in Khan’s eyes when he heard this, and then he sighed.
"Well... now that’s quite the interesting choice of words, now isn’t it? And now you want to go to the Ape Warlords? I can’t imagine that’s because you want to join them?" 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
Khan’s head tilted to the side, and there was a hint of danger in his tone, his aura leaking out. However, much like Sylas had said already...
A D-tier was still a D-tier, no matter how close they were to the C-tier.
Sylas appeared in a familiar hub after the teleportation completed. With a sweep of his gaze, he found that Khan was at least not lying about one thing. It was fairly straightforward to get to the Ape Sanctum. Everything was clearly marked and delineated.
However, actually going was another matter.
You couldn’t just go to another moon as a person not of that Sanctum just because you wanted to. He didn’t have the necessary prerequisites. On top of that, just because he got there didn’t mean that he would be able to access anything that he wanted either.
There were rules and procedures to everything, and he didn’t have the strength to just do as he pleased.
He also might be a genius Rune Master, but this was an organization built by C-tier Rune Masters far superior to himself. The same tricks and advantages he could take advantage of in a small corner of the universe like the Milky Way weren’t things that he could even begin to replicate here.
So what was he going to do?
Maybe Khan was right to be so lackadaisical. It wasn’t as though an F-tier could flip the Sanctum on its head even if he wanted to—least of all the Ape Sanctum, one of the four absolute strongest.
Sylas didn’t have a plan immediately yet either. What he did know from what Khan had mentioned, though, was that he didn’t have much time to work with and very little room to make something happen.
And then his eyes landed on it.
’Hm... maybe that’s the only way...’
The idea of getting his hands on the fundamental Strokes of the Ape Warlord Armor was probably impossible. In that case, he would have to study it himself.
In that case, there was only one way to do that.
His gaze landed on the F-tier Ranking List, with his name at the very top.
