Waves of black and violet pooled into the surroundings, a powerful Warlord Armor taking shape as one shingle after another snapped into place.
Deng. Deng. Deng.
His power skyrocketed.
BANG!
Pressing a foot down, he accelerated forward as though placed on a railgun. He moved like lightning, his wings flapping once and forming a resonance with the air that seemed to increase the frequency of his beating wings.
He accelerated even faster, and in less than a blink, he was already before Sylas.
There was a flash in Sylasâ eyes and the Armor crumbled.
Uroliusâ face seemed to present itself to his fist.
BANG!
It was little more than a single downward stroke. Sylasâ knuckles drove down, cracking against Uroliusâ skull, this time with so much force that the arena cracked in two, the Thryskaiâs head being buried deep.
This time, there was silence for a long while before the cheers erupted once again. As though a volcano bubbling over, the world howled in unison with Sylasâ victory.
There was no doubting it, no second-guessing it. It was complete domination.
Sylas looked up toward the ship. His palm turned up, his telekinesis raising Urolius up and out of the ground.
This feat alone was enough to shake hearts. Urolius wasnât dead, and his Will was powerful. Just how much stronger did Sylasâ Will have to be to use his telekinesis on him so directly?
Sylas had noticed something interesting about his new telekinesis, though. Usually, in order to measure the stats of his telekinesis, he needed to take the average of his Will and Charisma, then divide by four.
By all rights, his telekinesis should have 250 points in stats, or 250,000 points on Earth.
But that wasnât the case at all right now. There was no need to divide it at all. In fact, it was very direct.
That was to say... his telekinesis was actually stronger than his Physical stats right now at a full 1000 stat points.
That also meant that if Sylas chose to apply his telekinesis to his body for a Physical boost, he would also gain those full 1000 stat points.
However, the effectiveness of his telekinesis wasnât just at that. It was also a matter of weight. Those 1000 stat points had the power of over one million kilograms behind them. And that was without his Gluttony and Lust Seeds.
With his telekinesis, Sylas was practically like a wandering tank, a mountain smashing down with thousands of stat points in power, all without even considering his Aether or anything else.
Right now, the odds that he could find an F-tier that could withstand his blows even as well as Uroliusâat least anywhere in this corner of the universe...
Were zero.
"Would you still like to continue this farce? Or will you withdraw?"
The manâs jaw clenched.
Things were certainly not supposed to go this way. They had only brought three like he said, but even if they hadnât, it would be hard to backtrack on something like that right now.
The old man yawned, scratched his ass a bit, and then hopped down from the ship.
Sharpeâs corpse was kicked off and the hull closed with a sizzling tssss sound. Soon, it had risen into the skies.
From start to finish, Sylas watched this in silence, his mind churning with several thoughts.
He hadnât ended this as cleanly as he wanted. Unfortunately, he wasnât strong enough to take Magnus on as well, and if he was right, there was a gap to take advantage of.
The fact Aki had a Warlord Armor was still seared into Sylasâ mind. In all likelihood... this matter was far from over.
There were two ways to join, like he had said: a contentious route and a peaceful route.
There was an advantage to taking the contentious route because it came with immediate resources and buying power. There was already a clean division of resources in the Sanctum. If someone new wanted a piece of the pie, they would have to wait their turn and slowly integrate unless they proved themselves worthy.
Plus, anyone new wouldnât have earned a Core Sanctum seat either, making their power in the Sanctum overall highly limited.
But there was a peaceful route... a route that allowed one to be voted in by a small majority of the Sanctum as a whole. If enough agreed, the Bat Lineage could join without a fuss.
Normally, this should be an impossibility. It would be like allowing a snake into the gardens. But Sylas had a feeling that...
Things wouldnât be so simple.
It wasnât long before he was proven right.
