Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1520

Sylas dismissed the trident, the rusted blade that had fused with it zipping back into his body.

There was something particularly special about this blade. As far as Sylas could tell, it should probably be a Soul Construct, a single layer deeper than a Comprehension, but not quite on the level of a Will Manifestation.

Even so, it was incredibly powerful.

Sylas had already been able to off-load the physical stress of Blade Aura as a Gene Talent back when he made it a Will Ability. But there was also a pretty good reason he had just stopped and neglected this Gene Talent.

Setting aside the fact he had sacrificed it for the sake of Aetherborne Will, even before this he hadn't found it very useful because it had too many flaws.

Most of that was probably Sylas' fault since his Blade Aura Gene Talent had been the result of his own creation. It had to be remembered that his original Blade Aura Gene Talent was a crippled mess due to the fact his Grimblade bloodline was impure. So, he had to construct a new one relying on his Rune Mastery and observing the Grimblade Heiress’ own Gene Talent during their trial for head of the family.

This aside, the Gene Talent fell too far behind and it couldn't keep up with his Wil. Plus, the opponents Sylas came across often had Will so much weaker than his own that it wasn't even worth it.

But this Soul Construct... it changed everything.

He could probably instantly kill any F-tier or even E-tier in the Milky Way Sector with this blade, directly shredding their Will to pieces before they even understood what was happening.

In fact, Sylas was probably being conservative with that estimation. That was probably not just true of the Milky Way Sector, but of the Milky Way Horizon as a whole.

To say that he was a Primus Imperium now almost felt too empty for just how powerful he really was within the F-tier compared to where he had been born.

In fact, it could be said that Sylas was far stronger than 90% of the F-tiers across the entire universe. Follow current ɴᴏᴠᴇʟs on NovєlFіre.net

Of course... there still remained that 10%, those born into God Clans that overlooked the world.

it also couldn't be underestimated—the leap that existed between an A-Grade Race and a Demi-God Race either.

Both were of the A-Grade, and yet the gap might as well have been another world.

Sylas had truly wanted to take that spot... but now wasn't the time.

Not yet.

"Rest."

Sylas unilaterally decided that this was what he needed. He had only just come back from a nap, but he felt that it wasn't enough.

He needed food, rest, and time to decompress.

For Sylas of all people to make such a decision, it could be imagined just how much he had gone through.

For now, the best way for him to improve...

Was to sleep.
