[Bonus thanks to Borakthrash <3 can't wait for the rat colony I released into your home to find the peanut butter I slathered in your boxers. Byebye borak junior] Cassarae's eyes shot open and she hurried to sit up, grabbing at her sword. Her hand hit nothing but air, and yet the blade still shot out from across the room and entered her palm in a flash. It somehow felt that no matter how far away the sword would have been, it would have still entered Cassarae's palm with the same timing.
Sylas, who barely tilted his head out of the way of being decapitated, could feel the clear intent in the blade as though it was written before him itself.
That sword wasn't normal, nor was the necklace that could increase Luck either. Cassarae looked ready for battle, but then she seemed to notice Sylas, and then looked down at herself and shook her head.
“Did I have to be naked for this?"
Her breasts fell in beautiful drops of dew. The way the border of her areolas was just the slightest bit darker than her lush skin almost drew you in as though to entice you to find just where it started and ended.
“You had severe wounds," Sylas said, looking at her breasts as though they were her eyes.
“Yeah? And you're a doctor now?"
“I've always been a doctor," Sylas replied.
Cassarae rolled her eyes. "You really are shameless. You're a PhD, not an MD."
"And yet you're in perfect health now."
Cassarae held up a middie finger, and Sylas' lips only curled the slightest bit.
She pulled herself out of bed, half surprised that Sylas had actually kept her underwear on. Then less surprised when she noticed it was a pair she didn't recognize.
She let her sword go and it pierced right through the ground of Sylas' room, but she didn't seem to care as she lifted her leg over Sylas, straddling him in his chair, her breasts practically swaying like a carrot on a stick in front of his nose.
"Am 12" Cassarae asked. "I have two questions for you. Answer them well and maybe I'll reward you."
Sylas looked up at her, waiting. There wasn't even the slightest bit of nervousness on his face, as though he knew he would get what he wanted.
On the one hand, this irritated her.
On the other, it was exactly this sort of arrogance that drew her to him so much.
“First question, did you keep your promise?"
Cassarae's steely blue eyes jumped from one of Sylas' eyes to the other, scanning him as though looking for a lie. Though, if she knew anything about Sylas, it was that in situations like this one, his Pride was too great to lie.
As annoying as he was, she didn't believe that he had ever lied to her a single time in his fe, which was part of what usually made his words so irritating.
“I always keep my promises," Sylas replied.
Cassarae felt a part of her lower body clench, and she was wondering why this bastard hadn't put his hands on her hips yet. Was he trying to piss her off?
"Second question, am I prettier now, or was I prettier before?"
Cassarae grinned, her cute little canines flashing with a silvery light as the room's rays bounced off of them. She felt it was the perfect sort of trap question, the sort that was practically impossible to answer without offending her one way or another.
"Let me see," Sylas replied.
