After Debra got pregnant, Jordan brought William over.

In the living room, Debra lounged on the sofa.

Marion sat beside her, reading to the baby for prenatal bonding.

Strapped to a highchair nearby, Solomon got roped in and nodded off.

Debra was surprised to see William there.

Jordan explained, "I called him in to look after you. Just routine checkups, and we can all relax."

"But..." Debra glanced at William. "Are you an obstetrician?"

William stammered, "Uh... Yeah."

"Really? I thought you were a surgeon."

"Well," William cleared his throat, "you know, I'm a jack of all trades. I've been brushing up on OB-GYN stuff lately. I've got it mostly figured out. I'll take great care of you and the baby."

"You're studying it right now?"

"Yep."

"And you're getting it?"

William straightened up. "I'm natural."

Clearly, Marion had clearly done his homework to set Debra up like royalty.

"Uh, since I'm here," William said, scratching his neck, "wanna let me take a look?"

Debra raised an eyebrow. "Didn't you just say you're still learning? You're ready to check me now?"

"X-rays. I can read them without a problem. I'll snap some pictures and send them to an obstetrician friend. You know, to keep everyone in the loop," William replied, winking at Jordan.

Jordan played along. "Sounds good to me. William flew all the way from overseas. If he doesn't check you out, it's a waste of a trip."

"Alright." Debra nodded, hauling herself off the sofa.
