“I can’t believe Howard Larson showed up in a Bugatti Centodieci!”

“This is ridiculous! I’m telling you. We’ve never invited Alyssa! An established charity gala like ours would never invite a homewrecker! Look at what she’s spinning online. A wedding gown? It’s disgusting.

“Our theme tonight is about raising funds for critically ill children. We’re bringing attention to their struggles, but now the entire conversation is about her and Howard’s gossip,” Jimmy muttered angrily to Megan.

It was normal for people to show off their looks or stir up gossip at events like this. As long as they actually donated money in the end, nobody really cared. After all, actions spoke louder than words.

However, Alyssa’s stunt tonight was unbearable. The so–called wedding gown, and the narrative of Howard making exceptions just for her… It was as if Megan were completely out of the picture.
