Olivia stood still in shock. Tears rolled silently from her eyes as she stared blankly at Skylar, completely at a loss for a reaction.

She understood every word he'd said, but somehow, her brain refused to process what they meant. Did he mean what she thought he implied?

"A-Are you saying that just to make me feel better?" Was he only saying it because she'd been crying too hard?
