Young. Sharp. Dressed in black leathers that screamed both royalty and predator. Her eyes were silver, calculating, almost glowing, scanned the area like she could already smell war. She said nothing, but her gaze met mine with a nod.

“King Garron,” I greeted, stepping forward and grasping his forearm in a warrior’s shake. “You got my message?”

“We did,” he said, his voice low and rough like gravel. “Rogue activity delayed us. But we brought our strongest. We’re yours to command.

“Your strength is welcome,” I said, releasing him. “We’ve got an entire fucking territory to protect. You picked the perfect time.”

“I’d say the Goddess picked it,” Queen Seraya said coolly, her accent smooth and chilling. “This war smells of prophecy.”

“Doesn’t it always,” I muttered.

I turned to a nearby servant. “Have a wing of the keep readied for the King and Queen. Full accommodations. And prepare a room for Princess Rivena as well.”

The maid nodded and took off in a flurry of skirts and nerves.

Garron’s gaze followed her for a beat before he looked back at me. “We’ll join you at the war table.”

“Good,” I said. “You’ll want to see the fucking mess we’re about to clean up.”

The moment held, alpha to alpha. Kings of two very different beasts. Princess Rivena smirked and cut in, “Are we making someone bleed?”

Queen Seraya chuckled as King Garron raised an eyebrow and chortled, “She’s just like her mother. Dangerous.”

Rivena’s silver eyes gleamed as she grinned wickedly. And as the howls rose into the night around us, I knew one thing for damn sure….

Raelith was about to learn what happens when wolves, dragons, shifters, lycans, witches and humans stop fighting each other, and start hunting together.

Taya Quinn POV

I stormed through the portal with zero chill and negative patience. “Where the fuck is she?” I snapped, scanning the lush dragonlands courtyard like a hawk on caffeine.

“She’s here,” Rylen said, nostrils flaring as he scented the wind. “West wing. With the kids.”

“Perfect. Blood sirens, chaos, and she’s running a damn daycare.” I rolled my eyes and motioned the others to move. “Let’s go grab our goddess before something else insane happens.”

We tore through the palace like a pissed off hurricane, me, Rylen, Amaris, and Jace, all adrenaline and war energy. We found Elowen crouched in the west wing, surrounded by shaken kids with wide, watery eyes. She was smoothing one girl’s hair, whispering something calming, but her face? That shit was storm level serious.

“Elowen!” I shouted.

Chapter 204

She stood up fast, scanning us all like we might’ve brought more bad news. Spoiler alert….we did.

“What happened?” I asked, already knowing it was bad.

“Blood fucking sirens,” she said, het voice like a blade. “Popped out of the lake during the full moon fun. The men were pulled in by the song. I barely snapped them out of it. We fought. We killed all but one. Vaelrix flew it back for questioning.”

“You’re fucking kidding.” Jace muttered.

“They’re not from here,” Elowen continued, her eyes flashing. “They don’t belong in the fae realm.”

“No, they don’t,” Amaris said grimly. “Because they were sent. Raelith has cracked the veil. She’s in.”

Elowen went still. Her power rolled off her in hot waves. Her blue eyes glowed with fire. “What?” She spat.

“She’s here,” Rylen confirmed. “The sirens? That was her move. She’s testing the land. Pushing her reach. That wasn’t just an attack. It was her testing the waters.”

Elowen swore under her breath. “She’s seeing what she can get away with while we’re distracted. Fuck. Of course she is.”

Jace nodded. “And she’s not done. We got a comm crystal message. From Soria.”

That got her full attention.

“Fox shifter village,” Amaris said, holding up the crystal. “Near the Crucible. Montana. They’re under attack. She didn’t have time to say more, just said ‘help,‘ and warned Raelith’s reach has spread.”

A sharp intake of breath. Elowen’s entire body tensed. “They’re hitting the shifter lands,” she whispered. “Why!? We need to know what she’s planning!”

“No one’s safe now,” I said. “We came to get you because we need you now. This shit’s escalating. Raelith’s not waiting anymore.”

Elowen’s jaw clenched. “Fuck this. I’ll mind link the others.”

And she did, fast and fierce. The mental hum of her connection sparked like lightning in the room.

Daxon: “I’ll bring the wolves.”

Ashrian: “I’ll gather weapons.”

Bram: “Let’s break something.”

Lachlan: “Just point me where ye want me, mo ghrá.”

Vaelrix: “My fire is yours. My wings are ready.”
