Marcel was saying that all the recent turmoil and arguments in the family were because of Rhea. He cited her incompatible energy with Carter’s as the reason all this trouble kept happening.

“Let’s set that aside for now. Mr. Coleman, is there anything we can adjust in the house?” Lauren asked.

Marcel glanced around. “I’ve already taken a look earlier. A few items should be removed, like that wedding photo. It’s primarily black and white, and it’s placed in the west. Such a placement disrupts the harmony between the couple in the house.

“Also, all the bedrooms with doors facing east should be reassigned to someone who complements your energy. That will bring immediate results.”

East–facing bedrooms?

It struck Devan that every bedroom door in the house faced east. The guest rooms were rarely used.

If someone had to be “reassigned“, then it could only mean that they were being moved to the master bedroom.

Lauren seized the opportunity and said, “Carter, I think I’m the only one here who shares your horoscope.”

Devan frowned at once, wondering if Marcel was suggesting that Lauren move into the master bedroom.

Carter spoke gravely, “Devan, take down the wedding photo.”

“Mr. Jamison, are you—”

Chloe immediately cut in, “Since when do you question the head of the household?”

Devan was clearly unhappy, but he had no choice but to comply.

While the others were busy taking down the six–foot–long wedding photo, Carter took a call and stepped into the study to handle some business matters.

Just then, Rhea came downstairs carrying the kids‘ water bottles. Alisha quickly walked up and took them from her, saying that she would refill them.

“Ms. Ravelle,” Chloe called out.

Rhea turned around.

“It’s like this. Mr. Coleman has just finished his geomancy assessment of the house. There are a few adjustments that need to be made. I was wondering… if you could help,” Chloe said.

Rhea didn’t mind someone checking the geomancy. After all, she wasn’t planning to stay there much longer

anyway.

But what was there for her to help with?

Lauren jumped in. “Mr. Coleman said that the master bedroom needs to be reassigned. It’ll boost Carter’s career and also improve the children’s health.”

“It’s his house. He can arrange it however he wants.” Rhea had no objections.

Chloe smiled. “It’s wonderful that you’re so understanding. Lauren, you should start moving your things into the master bedroom.”

“I…” Lauren looked hesitant. “That’s the room Carter and Rhea shared. If I move in…”

Chloe tried to persuade her. “You’re doing this for the family and the children.”

Lauren turned to Rhea. “Rhea, you wouldn’t mind, right?”

Rhea clenched her teeth. She saw the maids taking down the wedding photo of her and Carter and setting it on

the floor.

As Lauren walked by, her foot landed on the edge of the wedding photo’s frame. It was difficult to determine whether it was an accident or intentional.

The smiling faces of her and Carter in the picture looked painfully ironic.

Rhea sneered and said, “Do whatever you want.” 1
