When the demon god saw this, his expression darkened. He decided to not hold back anymore and use his domain.
He thought to himself that it was somewhat embarrassing for a demon god like himself to use his domain against a weaker opponent but he didn’t care anymore. The air around them began to twist and distort as the demon god expanded his domain outward.
Xiang Yu felt the world shift around him and he suddenly found himself trapped within the enemy’s domain expansion. He stood surrounded by an endless sea of blood that seemingly stretched infinitely in all directions.
Grotesque zombie-like figures began to emerge from the blood around him.
More and more of these creatures surfaced, their gazes fixed on Xiang Yu as they moved toward him with outstretched claws.
Xiang Yu didn’t think much of them as he could sense that there was no real threat to them. He could also sense the demon god’s presence who was probably waiting for a sneak attack.
"This is my chance," he thought to himself.
He raised his palm and began to summon his void domain.
Instead of expanding it outward to negate the demon god’s domain directly, Xiang Yu concentrated intensely, condensing massive amounts of void energy into a single point in his palm. The energy compressed tighter and tighter until it formed a small black dot, no larger than a marble.
Without hesitation, Xiang Yu hurled the condensed void energy toward the center of the blood domain where he sensed the demon god’s presence.
All the condensed void energy imploded into itself, creating some sort of makeshift black hole that hungrily consumed everything in its path. The sea of blood, the zombie creatures, even the very structure of the domain itself - everything was being drawn toward the swirling void vortex.
The demon god, who had been hiding within the domain, felt the change immediately. His eyes widened in shock and horror as he watched his blood sea domain being devoured. He materialized instantly, no longer able to maintain his concealment. He desperately tried to exert control over his domain to resist the advancement of the all consuming void energy.
But his efforts proved futile. The void was simply too powerful, too hungry. No matter how much energy he poured into maintaining his blood sea, it continued to be consumed and replaced by the endless darkness of the void.
In the end, even the demon god himself was being pulled into the void black hole, just barely managing to escape, though not without paying a heavy price. His body was covered in deep wounds, and his clothes were torn and bloodied.
As the last remnants of the blood domain disappeared and the void black hole settled, Xiang Yu walked calmly across the void toward where the demon god lay.
When the demon god detected Xiang Yu’s approach, desperation filled his eyes. He tried to summon the power of his domain once more, hoping to regain some strength to escape, he had already given up on the mission, he just needed to survive. But every time he attempted to gather domain energy, Xiang Yu’s void domain immediately consumed it, leaving him completely powerless.
Xiang Yu looked down at his defeated opponent and smiled. "It’s dress-up time," he said in a cheerful tone.
Xiang Yu quickly began "dressing up" the demon god - though instead of clothes, he was covering him up with dozens of explosive talismans.
Once he was satisfied with his handiwork, Xiang Yu stepped back to a safe distance and activated all the talismans simultaneously.
The explosion was quite spectacular, completely destroying what remained of the demon god. As the remnants of the explosion were consumed by the void, Xiang Yu thought to himself with satisfaction that he had always wanted to test out his talisman collection but had never found a worthy test subject until now.
Just as Xiang Yu was about to hit the ground, his wind clone appeared, grabbing him and quickly disappearing.
...
"Are you okay? What happened?" Elder Huang asked with concern as she saw the wood clone Xiang Yu carrying the unconscious main body. Both she and Elder Guo exchanged worried glances, their eyes darting between the wood clone and the unconscious Xiang Yu.
"Don’t worry, I’m fine. I just need a little rest to recharge," Xiang Yu replied through his wood clone.
"Go and calm the disciples down. I’ll be busy for a while," he said.
The two elders, though still visibly worried about his condition, listened to him and left.
The wood clone carried Xiang Yu’s unconscious form toward the spirit vein. As he moved, Xiang Yu thought to himself that it seemed the partitions didn’t require his main body to be awake for them to continue functioning.
This was really convenient. Otherwise, he would have lost so much exp that he wouldn’t be able to live with himself.
After dropping off the main body, Xiang Yu wore a mischievous smile as he soared through the air. He then landed at the top of the demon tower, entering through the previously blown away roof.
"Kekeke, I’ve always dreamed of ransacking this place. Let’s see what nice treasures you’re hiding here," he thought to himself, rubbing his hands together in anticipation.
