Xiang Yu’s idea of healing was quite different from the traditional healing pill approach. It was also vastly different from the energy transfer method that most cultivators relied on.
The core theory was to create a controlled collision between condensed dragon and phoenix bloodline essences within a concentrated energy matrix. Kinda like nuclear fission.
Although he didn’t completely understand how nuclear fission worked, being just an office worker, he had taken a few physics classes back in college and watched a handful of documentaries, how hard could it possibly be?
He just needed to create something that mimicked the destruction and rebirth he experienced during his bloodline upgrades, but in a controlled way where he could capture only the beneficial effects.
First, he would create an extremely dense sphere of spiritual energy, compressing qi to near-solid density. This would serve as the containment field for the fusion process, just in case he accidentally I am become death.
After that, he would use his ability to condense bloodline essence that he had gained at Pure Blood level to extract tiny amounts of both dragon and phoenix essence from his bloodlines.
Within the energy sphere, he would accelerate these essences using qi manipulation, causing them to orbit each other at incredible speeds. Although Xiang Yu wasn’t at the Mahayana realm, with just these tiny essences and his current energy reserves, he was confident he could get them moving at almost light speed.
When that happened, he would smash them together like particles in a particle accelerator.
When the essences collided, the dragon essence would instinctively activate its natural vitality-sustaining properties, desperately trying to maintain its existence. Meanwhile, the phoenix essence would trigger its regenerative properties, attempting a rebirth effect.
This entire process would happen in an instant, so Xiang Yu would need to time everything perfectly.
Once the explosion occurred, he needed to channel the energy produced by the dragon essence into the host’s body, helping them recover their lost energy reserves. As for the phoenix’s regeneration properties, there wasn’t much active control needed, they would simply trigger a rebirth effect throughout the host’s body, instantly healing any damage and even restoring lost limbs. This would bring the body to an even better condition than before the injury.
Xiang Yu thought to himself that this theory was brilliant if it actually worked as intended.
It didn’t even require much from him personally. The energy needed for condensing wasn’t particularly demanding for someone like him, and the bloodline essences required were incredibly small amounts.
The quantity was so tiny that even if he performed this technique a thousand times, it would barely make a dent in his overall bloodline. To put that into perspective, the amount of essence required for this healing technique was about a hundred thousand times less than what he needed to create a single bloodline clone.
He thought to himself that if this really worked as planned, his bloodline farm project might become reality much sooner than he had originally anticipated. He could potentially start a bloodline essence nuclear powerplant inside his own body and increase his bloodline power to levels never before seen in the cultivation world.

Main Xiang Yu had his eyes closed in a meditative position.
Li Yao sat in the same pose just a few paces before him, facing him. She was also in deep concentration as each of them worked on finalizing their preparations for the upcoming battle, ensuring that they were in the proper state of mind for what lay ahead.
At that time, Li Yao seemed to sense something unusual and slowly opened her eyes, glancing toward Xiang Yu with concern. Even the Empress emerged and they all turned their attention to Xiang Yu with widening eyes. They could all sense the sudden overwhelming pressure that had started radiating from him, making them wonder what exactly he was doing at such a critical time.
Between his hands, they saw a floating sphere hovering in the air.
A golden energy also emerged from the reaction, and Xiang Yu guessed this was the rebirth effect he had been hoping to achieve. His eyes brightened with excitement as he realized his theory had actually worked.
"It really worked!" he thought aloud, unable to contain his amazement.
[What really worked?] the Empress asked, now standing directly before him and giving him that "you are in big trouble" look.
Li Yao lifted her hand, causing the condensed qi mist to flow toward her. She closed her eyes, sensing and analyzing the properties. After a moment, she opened her eyes again. "Is this the healing ability senior brother was talking about?" she asked.
"Ah, well yeah," Xiang Yu spoke hesitantly, scratching his cheek.

Author’s Corner
Quick clarification, he did not indeed create energy out of nothing. He converted mass into energy following Einstein’s equation E=mc².
Technically, this isn’t how nuclear fission works per se, but who really cares.
