"For me?"
"That’s right. You and Ah Rou’s matter needs resolution, and Hu Wan has already returned in advance. This matter should be settled sooner rather than later, so it would be better to return to Qingqiu Fox Country as soon as possible!"
"But..."
"Enough with the buts! Come on, do me a favor!"
As he said this, Xue An yanked the drunken Dragon Clan members and started dragging them outside.
"What’s this all about?" Huyue asked, looking bewildered.
"Why all the questions? Just do what you’re told and get to work!"
Huyue had no choice but to get busy along with him.
In the blink of an eye, all the Dragon Clan from the Divine Temple were dragged outside by the two.
Then Xue An clapped his hands, lifted his head, and sized up the gigantic temple, grinning.
"Hadn’t I heard that they demolished the temple knowing I was coming? This time, I have to give you a lesson you won’t forget."
With this, he spat twice into his fists and then walked forward with a cheerful smile.
The Great Elder was the first to fall drunk and also the first to wake up.
When he opened his eyes, a violent headache made him involuntarily moan.
"Damn, drank way too much. Can’t do this anymore in the future."
Mumbling to himself, the Great Elder slowly sat up.
"Huh, where is this?"
The Great Elder was surprised to find himself not in the temple but lying on the ground, feeling a bit bewildered.
Then he saw the Dragon Clan members lying sprawled around him, still snoring away, making him shiver all over.
"What’s going on?"
He leapt up from the ground, looked around, and found he was still in the Dragon Ancestral Land, which gave him a slight sense of relief.
He had initially thought an enemy had invaded and captured all of them.
But immediately, his breath caught in his chest, and he froze in midair, staring dumbfoundedly.
A gust of wind blew over, and where the temple was supposed to stand, there was now nothing but a blank space.
The Great Elder stood there in a daze, silent for a full cup of tea’s time before he looked up and let out a earth-shaking wail.
"Where’s the temple?"
"Where’s our giant temple?"
The shouting woke the sleeping Dragons.
Everyone got up and looked around in confusion until they eventually figured out what had happened.
Then the entire Dragon Clan was thrown into chaos.
The Great Elder shouted hoarsely, "Don’t ask, this was definitely Xue An’s doing—that Xue Bapi will do anything!"
The other elders were even more dismayed, "What do we do now?"
"I said at the time that we shouldn’t build the temple, and now look what happened!"
"You never said that! You were the one most in favor back then!"
"The temple is gone, are we just going to let it go? No, we need to get it back!"
"Exactly, get it back! That Xue Bapi is incorrigible, our Dragon Clan won’t let this go!"
For a moment, the Dragon Clan was outraged and clamored to retrieve the temple.
The Great Elder was the calmest, "Retrieve? How? Never mind that Xue Bapi has been gone for quite a while now. With his pace, he might have already left the Dragon Domain. Where will you chase him?"
"Even if you catch up, who among you can defeat him?"
"What should we do then? Just let it go?" a Dragon Elder shouted.
