Chapter 119 A Top Model Walked The Runway
The live stream chat was exploding with comments.
“Wow, it’s gorgeous! I wonder how much it costs.”
“I bought one of this designer’s pieces before, but I never expected she’d make such progress.”
“Oh my God. It’s stunning! I love this style!”
Emily’s eyes welled up as she scrolled through the compliments. She never imagined that her work would be admired by so many one day. And it was all thanks to Nancy.
She glanced at Nancy, eyes full of admiration.
Nancy sat quietly, watching the screen, her delicate profile and straight nose exuding elegance and nobility.
Emily could hardly wait for everyone to see Nancy’s own piece. She knew the reaction would be overwhelming.
In another room, the atmosphere was entirely different.
Raine watched the crowd gush over some no-name designer instead of her, and her jaw tightened. Did these people not have taste?
Forget it. She still had her trump card saved for the finale.
The models continued to take the runway.
Raine had deliberately arranged for her group’s model to go on first, hoping to crush Nancy’s designs. But now, it felt like she had only set the stage for them instead.
“Did they plagiarize? Their work was never this good before!” one of Raine’s designers muttered, clearly rattled.
“What are you so worried about? They don’t even have enough models. Just wait until they start changing outfits. Something’s bound to go wrong.” Raine sneered,
The others nodded, looking eager for drama.
“Next up, we have Penelope Lopez’s piece. Her inspiration comes from beautiful, dreamlike rainbows that instantly lift people’s spirits the moment they appear. That’s the feeling she wants to capture in her design.” The host introduced her work, but no model appeared.
The audience began to murmur in confusion.

Raine smirked.
Without models, what could Nancy possibly use to compete with her now?
She took a sip of tea, feeling pleased with herself.
But the next second, she nearly choked on her tea when she looked up. A familiar figure had just stepped onto the runway.
Orphy wore a shimmering short dress that glittered like flowing light, ethereal and dreamlike. It was as though a goddess had descended.
“Is… Is that Orphy Lloyd?” The designers beside her were stunned.
“No way! How could they possibly get Orphy to walk for them?”
“That has to be a fake!”
Their faces soured with jealousy.
Raine hoped it was fake, too, but Orphy was right there on the stage.
The live audience and the live stream viewers exploded.
“What? Am I seeing this right? Ms. Lloyd actually showed up here?”
“Dang, is Lidell Group really that loaded?”
“Ms. Lloyd’s as stunning as ever. That figure is unreal! This show is worthy of her. And that dress is absolutely gorgeous!”
“Does this mean Lidell Group’s fashion line is about to break into the luxury ranks?”
In the audience, Regina’s expression had already soured when no model appeared.
Her dislike of Nancy didn’t come out of nowhere. Nancy was always so headstrong and never seemed to know how to talk to people the right way.
Why did her own daughter have to turn out like this?
“Why aren’t the models coming out? Go and ask what’s happening backstage,” Andrew said to
her.
Her tone sharpened. “It’s all Nancy’s fault! She didn’t have enough models, and when I recommended a few to her, she dismissed them. I bet she’s scrambling to get the earlier ones changed into new outfits right now.”
“This is an important event. Why didn’t you talk some sense into her? Everyone’s waiting! If
