Chapter 125 The Final Sales Figures

Regina instinctively protested, “How could that be possible?”

She wanted to say something more, but the words never came.

Nancy didn’t just focus on showcasing her own designs. She also assisted the other designers in her team with their sales.

In just a few hours, their total revenue surpassed three million, setting a new record for Lidell

Group.

The new product showcase was coming to an end.

Customers gradually left, and Nancy gathered with the designers from her team. Looking at the sales figures, everyone was thrilled.

A round-faced designer, Rowena Palmer, said, “It looks like we’ve won for sure! Last quarter, the new product showcase generated nearly three million in total revenue. Now, in just a few hours, we’ve easily surpassed three million!”

“Exactly, we’ve definitely won!”

The others happily cheered.

Nancy’s lips curved into a slight smile, but before she could speak, someone tugged at her dress. She turned to see Regina standing aside, waiting for her.

Nancy approached with a cold expression, her voice carrying a hint of irritation. “Mrs. Lidell, do you need something?”

Regina felt a sharp pang in her chest, like a dagger had pierced her. After a few seconds, she finally said, “Nancy, do you have to be so cold toward me?”

“I don’t want to waste words with you, Mrs. Lidell,” Nancy said, her tone radiating cold

detachment.

Regina clenched her fists. “Who taught you how to design?”

“Does it matter to you?” Nancy said bluntly, showing no courtesy toward someone she disliked.

“Nancy, you’ve already won. I admit I was biased because we’ve raised Raine as a socialite for years. You may not like her, but for the future of the Lidell family, she has to stay,” Regina said, trying to reach for Nancy’s hand,

Nancy avoided it easily, leaving Regina slightly embarrassed.

“You’re my daughter, Nancy. I’ve always hoped you would become excellent. I didn’t expect you to be this outstanding. I feel proud and heartbroken at the same time. Have you suffered a lot?”

Regina’s gaze was filled with sincerity. Before Nancy returned, she had wondered if her

daughter’s adopted parents would truly care this deeply about her.

“Raine, why are you here?” Nancy suddenly asked, looking behind Regina.

Regina froze and turned slowly, but there was no one there.

Nancy’s voice came from behind again. “Mrs. Lidell, if you feel guilty and fear Raine finding out, you shouldn’t go against your own conscience.”

Regina spun around sharply. “Nancy!”

Nancy had already returned to the designers.

Regina stood there, a little dazed. She wondered if she had really been too biased. But it was natural to care about the daughter she had raised for so many years, right? She also cared about Nancy, but the latter just didn’t understand her intentions.

Backstage, Nancy and the Lidell family sat in the lounge.

Martha’s voice was solemn. “The new product showcase has ended. Let’s check the sales figures for both sides.”

Raine’s face glowed with excitement as she smiled. “I made over five million in total. Here are

all the orders, Grandma. Take a look.”

Martha examined the records and frowned slightly. “Most of these are from Alex?”

“Yes. Alex didn’t want to see me lose, so he bought several million’s worth,” Raine said with a touch of shyness.

Martha frowned. “Didn’t we say from the beginning that these should be organic sales figures?
