Chapter 40 Minor Role Major Attitude
Irene covered her face and lowered her gaze.
“I knew it. You can’t even handle one simple thing!” Wendy fumed, then kicked the chair Hillary
was sitting on.
“Hey, I suggest you delete those photos right now!”
Hillary’s temper flared instantly. As a top–tier celebrity, no one had ever dared speak to her like
that.
She stood up, towering over Wendy by a full head. Fixing her gaze on her, Hillary snapped, “If you’re crazy, go to a mental hospital. Don’t cause a scene here!
“Did I take a photo of you? Look at yourself! There’s nothing about you worth capturing. It’d be a waste of my storage space, idiot!”
Wendy was so stunned by the tirade that she was momentarily speechless.
Had paparazzi really become this arrogant?
By the time she finally snapped out of it, her anger had only grown stronger. Then she spotted Nancy sitting across from her.
Nancy’s striking, familiar face caught her off guard. A moment later, realization hit Wendy, and she sneered, “So, you’re my cousin’s friend. Well, well, Nancy, you’re hanging out with such low-
class people, huh? If you don’t want your friend to end up in jail, I suggest you make her delete
those photos.”
Their heated exchange had already drawn the attention of those nearby.
“Who’s that?”
“Wendy. She’s been pretty famous lately.”
“Is that the person in black a paparazzi? Paparazzi have gotten so disgusting these days.”
“I never thought Wendy was so tough. Honestly, I kind of like her now.”
Wendy had built a reputation for being outspoken in the entertainment industry. It was a sharp contrast to the more delicate female celebrities, and that had earned her a loyal fan base.
Confident that she was in the right, Wendy was unapologetic.
She knew the harsher her words, the more people would rally behind her.
In this world, people admired someone who wasn’t afraid to stand their ground.
Nancy’s lips twitched in surprise. She hadn’t expected her cousin sister to be a celebrity. “If that’s the case, here’s some advice. Don’t overthink it. There’s nothing about you worth photographing ”
Crossing her arms, Wendy scoffed. “Then let me see her phone! You and Raine really come from different worlds You should learn from her! She knows socialites like Winter. And what about

you?”
Her tone was thick with disdain.

At that moment, Hillary, having pieced together their relationship, felt a wave of disgust. “You call Winter a socialite? What a joke!”
“Shut up! Give me the phone!” Wendy shouted, lunging to snatch it from Hillary.
Naturally, Hillary resisted, and in the struggle, the phone slipped from her hand and plunged straight into the barbecue pit.
Furious, Hillary snapped, “Are you trying to get yourself killed?”
“You’re just trying to destroy the evidence!” Wendy pressed on, reaching for Hillary’s cap. paparazzi scum! Let me see your face! Let’s see how ugly you really are!”

But the moment the cap was knocked off, the mocking smile on Wendy’s face froze. It was replaced instantly by pure terror.
