After reading the message, Maggie swiped away the screen without replying.

That evening, Maggie went out to eat with her family.

When they arrived at the restaurant, she let her family go inside first while she went to find a parking spot.

After parking, she got out carrying her bag, not noticing that the car parked right next to hers belonged to Julia.

Julia had just finished a phone call and, after hanging up, spotted Maggie.

Maggie locked her car and was about to head toward the restaurant when suddenly she heard someone call out; “Little Maggie?”

The only person who called her that way was Nolan’s wife, her master’s wife, Yulia.

Maggie paused for a moment and, turning back, sure enough saw Yulia.

Julia had also wanted to get out of her car; her door was halfway open. When she saw Yulia, she too was momentarily stunned.

Yulia was both a genius in the medical field and Nolan’s wife. Although low–key and rarely in the news, anyone who cared to learn about her could find information quite easily.

So Julia immediately recognized her the moment she saw her.

As Julia reacted and pushed open her car door to get out, she froze again when she saw Maggie turn back, look toward Yulia, and call out respectfully.

Maggie said, “Ma–Master’s wife!”

Yulia smiled warmly at Maggie, walked over, opened her arms, and gave her a big hug: “My little Maggie, long time

no see!”

Being embraced by Yulia stirred some emotion inside Maggie, who also wrapped her arms around Yulia and sa “Long time no see.”

After holding Maggie for a while, Yulia let go and pinched her cheek, saying, “Several years have passed, and our little Maggie just keeps getting more and more beautiful.”

Maggie was still holding Yulia and didn’t let go, obediently allowing her cheek to be pinched. Hearing this, she smiled and said, “Master’s wife, you’re still just as young and beautiful.”

“The master’s wife is here for business entertainment, so maybe next time for a meal,” Yulia smiled. “I haven’t seen you and little Johnny for four or five years. This trip back, I was planning to find you two for dinner after I finished my business. Didn’t expect to run into you today so coincidentally. If you and little Johnny have time, how about we meet up in a couple of days?”

Maggie nodded obediently, “Sure.”

Yulia pinched her cheek again and said, “By the way, we have a junior at home who’s especially fond of the programming language CUAP that you developed. I’ll bring them over then. Little Maggie, would you mind?”

Maggie shook her head, “Not at all.” Then added, “And I haven’t personally thanked you yet for helping my mother bring in Mr. Quincy.”

“That was nothing,” Yulia smiled and glanced at her watch. Seeing that it was about time, she said, “The person who arranged for me has arrived. I shouldn’t keep them waiting. Let’s go inside.”

Maggie let go of Yulia and linked arms with her, saying, “Alright.”

With that, they walked toward the restaurant, completely unaware that Julia was nearby with her car door half–open, having overheard everything.
