“Yes, I want to be that bastard’s father.” Harry put his phone aside. A faint, cold smile played on his lips.

Jeremy laughed coldly. “Fine. As soon as you finalize the divorce with Catherine, I’ll make sure the child calls you Dad.”

“Then, we’ll wait until the child can say the word ‘Daddy’ before Catherine and I get the divorce certificate.” Harry hung up and tossed his phone aside.

He scoffed, crossing his hands behind his head. Did Jeremy think he could provoke him with this? Did he really think he was that stupid?

Not long after Harry ended his call, his phone rang again. It was Michelle. He composed himself before answering. “What’s wrong?”

“I had a nightmare and I’m scared. Can you come keep me company?” Michelle’s voice was

soft and vulnerable. She knew men liked this type of woman.

“Get some rest.” Harry put down his phone and repeatedly looked at the pregnancy report Adrian had sent.

He remembered sleeping with Catherine 35 days ago. They had always used protection. In their two years of marriage, he had never once considered having a child with her.
