Chapter 51 Terrible in Bed
Chapter 51 Terrible in Bed
Catherine glanced at Harry casually before looking away. She didn’t seem concerned whether
he had heard her.
“Excuse me,” she said, a trace of impatience in her voice.
Harry stepped aside.
As Catherine walked past him and slung her bag over her shoulder, he called out from behind. “So, to you… I’m trash?”
There was an ambiguity in his tone. It was neither plainly angry nor openly amused.
Catherine stopped, crossed her arms, and met the darkness in his eyes head-on. “Yes, you’re a perfect fit for a trash can.”
Harry let out a short, sarcastic laugh. “Should I be thanking you for that?”
“You’re welcome,” Catherine replied, turning away to leave.
In the busy hospital corridor, Harry spoke in a low voice, but it still carried to anyone passing by. “It’s my fault I couldn’t satisfy you.”
Catherine halted and uncrossed her arms. So he had heard her, after all.

Her eyes fell on the bruises on his face. She gasped, trying to sit up. “What happened to your
face?”
In her haste, she accidentally tugged at her own wound and cried out. “Ah!”
“Don’t move around so much while you’re still hurt,” Harry said, easing Michelle back onto
the bed.
Michelle reached out, her voice trembling with concern. “I was just worried about you…”

“I’m fine. It’s just a scrape,” Harry interrupted, gently pulling away from her hand.
He shifted the conversation. “What was Catherine doing here?”
Michelle bit her lip and hesitated before slowly pulling her hand away. She looked at Harry shyly, her eyes cast downward like a scolded child.
Seeing her reaction, Harry realized Catherine must have said something extreme. His tone immediately turned serious. “What did she say?”
Michelle stayed silent. After Harry pressed her repeatedly, she finally sniffled, her eyes filling with tears. “Harry, you shouldn’t ask… I…”
“Just say it. Don’t be afraid of Catherine,” Harry said softly.
Michelle wiped away her tears, her voice trembling. “She said… she was going to kill me.
