Chapter 74 Da Ya from Me
Chapter 74 Do You Trust Me
Jeremy suddenly asked, “Cathy, do you trust me?”
Catherine looked up and saw his serious expression. Her heart skipped a beat for no reason, then she quickly looked away and lowered her head. “Why would you suddenly ask that?”
Jeremy said softly, “Cathy, I can help you.”
Catherine lowered her head further, her fingers curling unconsciously. “How could you help me?”
Jeremy almost blurted out what was in his heart, but he forced himself to swallow the words, trying not to let his feelings startle her.
He resorted to a safer approach. “Cathy, the Bells and the Zimmermans are on equal footing. You can hide the child with us. Even if Harry finds out, he won’t be able to take the child away.”
What Jeremy said sounded reasonable, yet Catherine thought of Rachel and Nigel. They treated her like one of their own, and if things escalated to this point, it would only hurt her
bond with them.
After thinking it over, she rejected him. “Thank you for the offer, but let’s wait until after the baby is born.”

Catherine exclaimed, “Why didn’t she tell me she came back?”
Jeremy spoke with a smile tugging at his lips, his eyes brimming with amusement. “She wanted to surprise you, and there’s an even bigger surprise.”
Catherine quickly grabbed her phone and called Eleanor. Though her words sounded like a scolding, she couldn’t hide the smile on her face. “Why didn’t you tell me you were back?”
A playful voice came through the line. “Did Jeremy tell you? He’s so annoying. I told him I

would be the one to surprise you!”

Catherine let out a soft hum. “I happen to be free this afternoon. Why don’t you come by and see me?”
“Sure! I have a little angel I want to show you,” Eleanor replied excitedly.
Catherine grew curious about what this so-called angel might be.
Seeing how happy Catherine looked, a smile spread across Jeremy’s face. After clearing the dishes, he said, “Cathy, I’ll be leaving now.”
“Alright,” she replied. Her thoughts were completely on Eleanor now. She wondered whether Eleanor would stay for good this time.
Around 2:00 pm, the doorbell rang.
Catherine rushed to open the door, forgetting even to put on her shoes. The moment she opened the door, something soft was shoved into her arms. She looked down and saw that it
