"Hey, who's this?" As soon as the call was connected, Nicolas' voice came through, sounding calm and steady, unlike his usual frivolous tone.

"Oh," Nicolas said meaningfully, "then Liam is being unreasonable. It's just a pair of socks, is it really worth getting upset over?"

"So you mean, you want me to return the bracelet for Ms. Reilly?" Nicolas asked.

Celeste laughed, "If I wanted you to help me return the bracelet, I would've gone to Liam instead of you."
