Wayne understood Geoffrey’s meaning: “Yes.”

Geoffrey grew increasingly curious about who knew about the Private Country Estate.

At the kindergarten, Jacob sneezed, feeling drowsy.

Two days ago, Sean asked Katherine to bring the child to see him. Instead, she called Albert directly, telling the old man she had no interest in his grandson.

Katherine could only obediently switch off her phone.

Katherine redialed, but the line rang into silence.

Katherine sensed trouble and immediately called Jacob’s teacher.

“Hello, teacher? Could you put Jacob on the phone?”
