Neither Georgina nor Katie had expected Granger to be so polite to them, yet so unyielding when it came to turning Leah down—right in front of their faces, no less.
Of course, Georgina still hoped that something might work out between Leah and Granger.
She managed a smile, trying to ease the awkwardness in the room, leaving some space for a possible change of heart. “It’s true, Leah was out of line this time. We’ll have a good talk with her later. I’m so sorry for interrupting your meeting. Maybe next time, I’ll have Vesta bring Leah over so she can apologize to you properly—”
“That won’t be necessary,” Granger cut in, seeing exactly what she was trying to do. “As for matters of the heart…”
He paused, his eyes briefly flickering to Charlene before continuing, “No one can be forced. Ms. Spencer and I simply aren’t right for each other. I hope you’ll encourage her to move on, so she doesn’t waste her time—or her future—on me.”
At this point, there wasn’t much left for Georgina to misunderstand.
She glanced at Charlene, who had been entirely detached from the drama, calmly sipping her tea as if she were just there to watch the Spencer family make fools of themselves.
Georgina’s smile faltered; she gave a strained little laugh and said, “You’re right. I’ll have a serious talk with Leah.”
“Thank you, I appreciate it.”
Leah, mortified, had already fled the room. Once Georgina and Katie had followed her out and closed the door behind them, Granger finally turned to Charlene. “Sorry about that,” he said, “I didn’t mean to waste your time.”
Ever since he’d realized how Leah felt about him, Granger had made his disinterest perfectly clear.
But Leah never took the hint.
He’d tried, on several occasions, to talk to her honestly, but every time, she’d pretend not to notice and avoid the conversation altogether.
Today was the first chance he’d had to meet Charlene one-on-one, and he hadn’t wanted to waste it dealing with Leah’s drama.
Leah’s inability to take a hint—and her willful ignorance—had finally pushed him to his limit.
Now, she could finally accept that reality.
Granger probably understood that, too, which was why he’d chosen to finish his sentence.
It was true, after all.
Still, even though she’d moved on, hearing someone bring it up again stirred up a few old, unpleasant memories.
So he couldn’t help but want to apologize.
But Charlene had no interest in rehashing the past. She changed the subject.
Granger’s gaze lingered on her fair, flawless face. For a moment, he was tempted to say something—something more personal—but then he remembered she wasn’t officially divorced yet. He forced himself to hold his tongue and changed the subject himself.

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
Chapters 480 and on are repeat from previous chapters. What's up with that? Time to stop reading this novel....
Thanks for the update. Keep them coming please!...
Any hope for Vesta being brain-dead?...
Thanks PINKK889 for the info. The same version is also on You tube except dubbed in English and titled “ I divorced my husband who cheated now begging me to come back” Enjoy...
Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...
Stewart and Charlene will the best match, both power players!...
Can't wait to read where Charlene will start another relationship... God for is she gets back with Thorne... She needs to be with York or Gaylord (to annoy vesta) or granger (to annoy Thorne)...
I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
Hey...please dont ever make Charlene and thorne get back together no matter what...he simply doesn't deserve it....no matter the reason or plot twist behind the way he treated his legally wedded wife....whether he actually slept with vesta or not....just his emotional cheating...not repecting his spouse....not caring enough to actually get to know the person his wife was....and actually distancing his child from her mother and encouraging her to bond with the mistress are all the biggest RED FLAGS... when a person enters a contract....he must uphold it no questions asked...its not like if ur partner isnt good enough, ur allowed to cheat..allowed to let a 3rd person in-between....if ur not satisfied with ur partner then u can get a divorce...whats the point of all the wealth, power and brilliance of mind when the ML cant even get his head around this simple fact...So, its fine it he regrets, but charlene shouldn't be with him in any case.....
Enough already. This novel is dragging slowly. Updated with 2 chapters only. REALLY!!! Whoever the author or authors of this novel why is there a delay in penning more chapters? Here’s my question. In reading the comments from others does their opinions matters and/or make a difference? Are comments being monitored? Or is it only a tool allowing readers to blow off steam?...
