He caught it, eyes flashing. “Wait, you didn’t even work a full day yet. How the hell did you wrap
up so fast?”

“I told them to grab food and rest. But once we dug into that organization, we saw too much sick stuff. They were furious. Nobody cared about breaks–we just wanted to crush those bastards. Adrenaline carried us through.”
Her eyes grew gentle as she watched her four teammates who were fast asleep, scattered across the office.
Even after everything they’d seen in this messed–up world as hackers, they still fought with pure passion.
Tilda felt a rush of gratitude. Building this squad and finding people like them was pure luck.
They had skill, energy, followed orders, and never betrayed anyone.
But the real deal was their heart. They genuinely cared about people. In a place so rotten, they were like shining gems untouched by the dirt. That was what mattered most.
