Rebirth in 1986: Unforgettable Regrets novel Chapter 134

Chapter 134: Chapter 134 Comparison (Second Update)

They made their way back to the hospital in Wangjiang County, with Tang Yue helping Tang Mingli out of the car, and Mo Siyu, assisted by Mo Xiaolin and the doctor, also got out of the car and onto a wheelchair.

Mo Siyu wore a white shirt, and Tang Yue happened to be walking behind them when she suddenly exclaimed, "Uncle Mo, has your wound split open?"

"Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?" Mo Xiaolin quickly asked, concernedly looking at Mo Siyu.

Mo Siyu pressed his lips together and said, "Mom, it’s nothing. Let’s go inside."

Mo Siyu spoke calmly, showing no sign of distress.

Once inside the hospital, both Tang Mingli and Mo Siyu had their wounds reopened for examination.

"Be gentle, it hurts," Tang Mingli said as his wound on his back was quickly reopened, while Mo Siyu had his cast removed first to check the healing progress of his leg injury.

"Uncle, just bear with it a little."

Tang Yue supported Tang Mingli’s shoulder, looking at the bloody and flesh-exposed wound on his back that had been stitched up, looking extraordinarily ferocious. The thought that these injuries were sustained for her filled Tang Yue with immense guilt.

In her heart, Tang Yue thought that once they got home, she must properly help Uncle Mo recuperate.

The cold antiseptic solution was applied over the wound, making Tang Mingli feel a slight itchy and painful sensation.

The nurse skillfully redressed Tang Mingli’s wound, and once he put his clothes back on, he immediately felt much more comfortable.

"Si Yu, if it hurts, you can bite Mom’s hand," Mo Xiaolin stretched out her hand and placed it near Mo Siyu’s mouth.

His wounds had burst open again due to the long transfer to the hospital, with blood flowing out once more. Taking off the clothes that had stuck to the wound was a shocking sight to see.

It was the first time Mo Xiaolin saw Mo Siyu’s wounds up close; she had always happened to be away when the dressings were being changed previously and hadn’t seen them.

Now, seeing the new and old injuries on Mo Siyu’s body, as well as the torn wounds, her eyes instantly reddened.

"Mom, this wound just looks scary," Mo Siyu gripped Mo Xiaolin’s hand, not wanting her to worry.

Standing aside, Tang Yue supported Tang Mingli and hadn’t left yet, she saw the new and old wounds on Mo Siyu’s back which looked much more frightening than Tang Mingli’s.

"Mom, it doesn’t hurt," Mo Siyu stated placidly, his expression as if nothing had happened, as if the pain wasn’t his to bear.

Even the nurse’s movements became gentler.

Mo Siyu’s face remained unchanged, as if he was unaffected by the injuries.

Tang Mingli remained silent, thinking about his own recent situation and suddenly felt somewhat ashamed.

Tang Yue gripped Tang Mingli’s hand tightly without realizing.

"Does it hurt?" Tang Mingli looked moved.

Tang Yue pursed her lips, glancing at him, and softly said, "No, it’s just that the wound looks very frightening."

"Oh..." Tang Mingli instinctively disbelieved her words.

Tang Yue stopped speaking and listened as the doctor inspected Mo Siyu’s wound, confirming there was no inflammation. Only then did her hanging heart relax.

Tang Yue accompanied Tang Mingli back to the shop; it was closer, plus it was right by the road. Tang Mingli’s rented room was in a narrow alley that cars could not enter.
