In the workshop, although it was busy, life was fulfilling. Every day, Tang Yue worked with the drafts, fabrics, and sewing machines, other than the time for eating and sleeping, she spent her days in the pattern studio.
When Tang Yue looked at one piece of clothing after another being completed, the sense of accomplishment in her heart was irreplaceable by anything else.
"Xiao Yue, the cutting of this piece of clothing is fine, all three sizes are done." Deng Lanhua had made three sets of clothes, and after gaining experience, it became quite easy to know what size to make, sometimes, just a simple trim would suffice for success.
"Good." Tang Yue took a glance at the clothes and gave Deng Lanhua a thumbs up. She really hadn’t misjudged her; Sister Deng was very good at making clothes. Despite her young age, she was meticulous and careful, and also quick to understand.
Working with Sister Deng also saved Tang Yue a lot of worries.
The master tailor took these fabrics and started cutting them out one by one neatly.
That day, early in the morning, Tang Yue hadn’t left the house yet when she faintly heard the voices of Tang Zhengyuan and Wang Aihua from the shop. Tang Yue’s brows furrowed and she asked, "Xiao Jun, is it uncle and aunt who are there?"
"Who else but them." Tang Jun said with a grimacing mouth, in a bad mood, "Tang Xian and Tang Min are here too. I really don’t know how they can be so shameless."
It’s one thing to eat breakfast for free, but to be picky and choosy is just irritating.
"Have you eaten?" Tang Yue asked.
"I’m full of anger." Tang Jun said huffily.
Tang Yue couldn’t help but laugh.
Tang Jun gave her a look and said, "Sis, you still find this funny?"
"Why not laugh, why should we be unhappy because of other people’s actions?" Tang Yue retorted, "Xiao Jun, being angry is like punishing ourselves with other people’s mistakes. Think about it, while you fume here, they might be secretly happy."
"Really?" It was the first time Tang Jun had heard such a viewpoint.
Tang Yue nodded affirmatively, "Think about it; you’re angry, but they’re outside, eating breakfast happily. Do you think they care if you’re angry or not?"
"No." Tang Jun shook his head and added, "They wouldn’t care whether I’m angry or not."
"That’s right. The only ones who care about you are the people you care about. Why should we cause worry to those who care about us because of them?" Tang Yue advised earnestly, "Everyone must be responsible for their own life. We can’t control what others do, we can only take care of ourselves."
Tang Jun seemed to understand but not quite, his spirits lifting as he looked into Tang Yue’s caring eyes, the anger from earlier vanishing. "Sis, don’t worry, I’m going to go to university. I will study hard and won’t end up like Tang Xian."
"Hmm?" Tang Yue asked subconsciously, "What happened to Tang Xian?"
"Nothing much." Tang Jun spoke hurriedly.
