Jiang Beini felt more and more convinced it was so.
If Tang Yue knew what Jiang Beini was thinking deep down, she’d probably think she had lost her mind. Mo Siyu had hurt his leg, and if he had to carry her upstairs, she’d feel sorry for him. It was perfect that Xiao Jun and the others were visiting for the first time, so she could let Mo Siyu take care of settling the three of them.
Tang Yue and Li Wei went upstairs, arriving at the fifth floor, where they ran into many families. Li Wei introduced her just like he had done with Jiang Beini earlier with such pride that those who didn’t know might have thought she was Li Wei’s partner.
Thus, in just a short distance, the news that Brother Mo’s partner was there, and not only was she not ugly but also as beautiful as a little fairy spread like wildfire through the entire building.
Being praised as beautiful as a little fairy was indeed high praise.
As soon as Tang Yue entered the room, before she even had a chance to look at Mo Siyu’s room, she had just put down her things when there was a knock at the door.
"So you’re Brother Mo’s partner? You really are handsome. They weren’t wrong; you look just like a little fairy," Jiang Lan said to Tang Yue, unable to hide her amazed gaze.
"Uh..." Tang Yue blushed, feeling pleased being praised as a little fairy.
She smiled and said, "Thank you for the compliment. You’re very pretty too."
Tang Yue’s eyes rested on Jiang Lan’s face; her eyes were very pure, the kind that had not been tempered by society.
"My name is Jiang Lan, I live just downstairs." Jiang Lan introduced herself with a smile. She was just twenty years old and the youngest in the residential compound.
"You can come to my house whenever you have time," Jiang Lan invited warmly.
"Sure," Tang Yue responded, not ready to say much else when more people gathered at the door, some a bit older than Jiang Lan, and others in their thirties or forties. Everyone introduced themselves, and not recognizing anyone, Tang Yue could only awkwardly smile.
Finally, when they all left, her face was stiff from smiling. Even with a good memory, she couldn’t quite remember who was who.
She closed the door and finally had time to take a look at Mo Siyu’s room: one bedroom, one bathroom, and a small balcony. There were neat tofu-block-folded quilts on the iron bed, and beside it, a desk with neatly arranged books.
In the corner against the wall stood a wardrobe. She thought about it and decided to open it and take a look. Inside, everything was organized very neatly as well.
The clothes were folded and did not seem like they belonged to a man.
Tang Yue took out her belongings. She hadn’t rested much last night, and now she too felt very tired. After a bath and changing clothes, she fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.
She had thought she might have trouble sleeping in a new place and feel uncomfortable, but the fresh scent on the bed made her feel at ease.

Tang Jun and the two others followed Mo Siyu to stay in the large dormitory, where several beds were conveniently vacant. He would stay here for the next few days since his leg was not yet healed, which would make going up to the fifth floor quite troublesome.
"Have we arrived at the motor pool?" Zhang Qiang said excitedly.
