"Sure." Tang Yue responded casually, "If Sister-in-law Han wants to make them, she can go with Sister-in-law Liu to pick them up."
"Really?" Ruan Xiuxiu’s eyes instantly lit up, thinking to herself that although making dolls didn’t earn much money, it was still better than not earning anything at all, right?
"Of course it’s true."
As Tang Yue answered, her drowsiness slowly dissipated, and her consciousness started to clear up.
Ruan Xiuxiu thanked her profusely and then turned to leave.
After leaving Tang Yue’s place joyfully, Ruan Xiuxiu immediately began to inquire about how to make dolls from the other sisters-in-law. She could hardly wait to follow along and pick up some dolls to work on.
"Xiuxiu, aren’t you going to be a substitute teacher? You want to make dolls with us too?" Jiang Lan looked at Ruan Xiuxiu and asked. Initially, when they began making dolls, it was Ruan Xiuxiu who had said that it wouldn’t make much money, and it wasn’t even worth doing. Now, she had specifically found Tang Yue to do it?
Jiang Lan really didn’t understand how Ruan Xiuxiu had the cheek to do this. She’d often joined Jiang Beini in badmouthing Tang Yue but now shamelessly sought Tang Yue’s agreement to make dolls. She truly didn’t understand how Xiuxiu had the nerve to ask.
"Can’t a substitute teacher make dolls?" Ruan Xiuxiu really had no shame, retorting, "Beini said that even as a substitute teacher, I have to wait until the school term starts, and that’s several months away. Does that mean I can’t make dolls?"
"Sister-in-law Xu, how exactly do we make these dolls?" Ruan Xiuxiu ignored Jiang Lan and turned to ask Sister-in-law Xu, inquiring about how to make the dolls.
Jiang Lan pursed her lips and said nothing.

Tang Yue packed up her things and took them away. She returned to Pinganda, sorted through her things again, and took advantage of the nice weather to wash all the sheets and duvet covers.
There was a washing machine available here, so Tang Yue didn’t have to wash them by hand. She washed the duvet covers and sheets, changed Mo Siyu’s bed with clean ones, and was in a good mood. She even took out Mo Siyu’s thick white shirt and brought it out to the balcony to dry.
The cacti on the balcony looked very nice, green and lush with little spikes. They seemed to have grown a bit since last time.
Tang Yue watered the cacti, then started cleaning the house. Mo Siyu had taken good care of the place, keeping it spotless as if someone were living there, especially the room she stayed in, which was dust-free, as if someone lived there all the time.
Tang Yue took out the clothes that needed drying, wiped the house down thoroughly with a cloth, and although the kitchen hadn’t been used for cooking, it still gathered dust. She particularly cleaned all the dishes and bowls, rewashing them in hot water.
After cleaning up, Tang Yue started to cook lunch. She made chopped chili fish head, a spicy and sour dish with a lot of peppers. The combination of sour and red peppers was a feast for the eyes, and the dish smelled as good as it looked. She also made stir-fried pork with garlic sprouts and pea egg drop soup, two dishes and one soup. The portions she cooked were not too large, just right considering Mo Siyu’s appetite.
Just as she served the dishes, the door opened, revealing Mo Siyu’s handsome face.
"Xiao Yue." Mo Siyu closed the door behind him, and as soon as he entered the house, he enveloped Tang Yue in a hug. His body exuded a fresh scent and an impressive demeanor. His strong arms wrapped around her, making her feel secure.
"Go wash your hands and eat." Tang Yue looked up at him with a sweet smile and her bright eyes shining.
"Okay." Mo Siyu placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and then went to wash his hands in the kitchen. Seeing the delicious dishes on the table, he complimented, "Xiao Yue, every time you come, I feel like I can eat an extra bowl of rice."
