Chapter 71
ALINA’S POV.
“I dare you to kiss someone in this room… someone you love.”
The whole room fell completely silent.
Everyone was staring at me, probably expecting me to go and kiss Adrian.
I turned to Talia, already seeing her shaking her head at me in silent warning.
“You don’t have to, Ally.” Talia said, disapproval clear in her voice, her brows furrowed with nervousness.
Wow. Good to know she had no faith in me.
I stood up, and she grabbed my arm, shaking her head furiously, her grip firm and desperate.
Rolling my eyes, I pulled her up and kissed her smack on the lips.
A few guys whistled in excitement.
“That’s fucking hot!” Someone yelled.
“Do it again!” Another voice chipped in.
Fucking perverts.
Talia looked at me with a smirk, amusement dancing in her eyes, and I knew exactly what she was about to say.
“I’ve always known you are into me.”
“Oh, shut up.” I rolled my eyes, though I couldn’t help the smile that tugged at my lips.
“That’s cheating.” The guy who gave the dare said, clearly annoyed.

“Well, you did say I should kiss someone in this room that I love, and frankly, Talia is the only person in this room that I love.” I shrugged, sitting back down.
“Ouch, Ally. And here I was thinking we had a moment earlier.”Evans said, placing a dramatic hand on his chest.
“You wish.”I let out a small laugh before turning my attention back to Nathan, the guy who dared me.
“Maybe next time you should be more specific.” I added, crossing my legs and taking a sip from my cup.
I spared a quick glance at Adrian and caught him staring at me, his jaw clenched tight.
Relax, dude. You are not that important.
“You think you’re smart, don’t you?” Nathan said, glaring at me.
“I don’t think I’m smart hunny. I know I’m smart.” I retorted, meeting his glare head-on.
I had no idea why he was so pissed. He gave a dare, and I did it.

Oh, who am I kidding? I know why he’s pissed. I disappointed him, along with a couple of others, when I didn’t kiss Adrian like they were expecting.
They wanted to watch drama, well too bad.
He opened his mouth to say something, but Evans interrupted.
“Alright, guys. Let’s move on,” he said, clapping his hands. “It’s your turn to spin the bottle, Ally,” he told me.
I spun the bottle, and it landed on Emily. She was one of the quiet girls in class back then, and I knew for a fact she had a massive crush on Dominic, Evans’s best friend.
Here was my chance to play Cupid.
“Emily, truth or dare?” I asked, silently praying she chose dare.
And like the rebel she’d recently become, she did.
Perfect.
“I dare you to have a seven minutes in heaven with Dominic.” I told her with a sly smile.
“OHHHHHH!” The crowd cheered in excitement.
“Now that’s how to be specific.” I couldn’t help but throw at Nathan, who glared at me in return.
Emily stood up and approached Dominic, who was already staring at her with a smirk on his lips.
“Are you going to sit there and stare at me all night, or would you come with me so we can get this over with?” She asked, her tone laced with sass.
Damn. Where had the shy girl gone?
I guess we all did some growing up after college.
Dominic grabbed her outstretched hand and stood up.
“Don’t wait up, guys. Mommy and Daddy will be home late.” He said to us, making everyone laugh.
As they walked away, Emily glanced at me. I winked at her and mouthed, have fun.
After they left, the game continued.
“I want to go use the bathroom.” I leaned in and whispered to Talia.
“I am coming with.” She said immediately.
“No need, I’ll be fine.” I dismissed In a casual tone.
“Need I remind you what happened the last time you went out alone in a bar?” She narrowed her eyes at me.
I shivered at the thought.
“Fine. You can come with.” I relented.
“I wasn’t asking for your permission to begin with.” She rolled her eyes, making me glare at her playfully.

We both got up, making Evans turn to us.
“Leaving already?” He asked.
“Nah, we need to use the restroom.” I told him.
“Alrighty.” He said, his attention already drifting back to the game.
Talia and I made our way to the bathroom.

After finishing my business, I washed my hands and was heading toward the door when Talia suddenly moaned in discomfort, grabbing her stomach.
“Are you okay, baby?” My expression shifted to one of concern as I rushed to her side.
“My stomach hurts.” She whined, her face twisting in pain.
“How come?” I asked, confused. “You were fine only seconds ago.”
“I think it’s the sushi I ate earlier.” She moaned, doubling over.
“Why would you eat sushi when you know your stomach reacts badly to it?” I scolded her softly.
“They’re just so good.” She defended lamely, then cried out in pain again.
“I think I’m going to poop.” She announced, rushing into one of the stalls.
“Ewww. I didn’t need to know that.” I teased after her.
“You may want to wait outside because it’s gonna stink.” She warned in a strained voice.
“Wouldn’t be the first time I perceive your poop.” I responded dryly.
“Just go out and keep a lookout for me. Don’t let anyone in here, because God forbid they perceive this.” She said in horror.
“Well, maybe you should stay away from sushi then.” I laughed, stepping out of the restroom.
I placed the ‘Out of Order’ sign on the door handle and leaned my back against the wall beside it.
1 was scrolling on my phone when a shadow fell over me. I looked up and groaned when I saw Adrian standing in front of
“What do you want?” My tone held pure annoyance.
