Rebirth Of The Heiress And The Tycoon's Lover (Alina) novel Chapter 81

Chapter 81

ALINA’S POV.

God, please no!

“Sorry, gentlemen. My fiancée can be… needy at times.” Lucian responded smoothly.

I slowly turned around to check his laptop screen, and I confirmed what I already knew.

Five faces stared back at me, some with shock, others with amused grins.

“Oh Lord.” I said in horror as I buried my face in Lucian’s chest in utter embarrassment.

“It’s quite alright, Mr. Blackwood. We all have wives, so we can understand. We can revisit this tomorrow.”Another voice said lightly.

“Alright then, gentlemen. My assistant will email you the time for the next meeting,” he informed them. “Let me go attend to my madame.” He added, making me smack his chest.

Laughter echoed from the laptop before it went silent.

“You can stop hiding now.” Lucian said, amused.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were on a call?” I whined, still mortified.

“I tried to, doll, but you didn’t let me talk.” He defended with a chuckle. “Red is a good color on you.” He said, caressing my flushed cheeks.

“Shut up.” I mumbled. “God, this is so embarrassing.” I groaned, squeezing my eyes shut.

“Calm down, doll. My business partners didn’t think it was a big deal.” He assured me, brushing his thumb over my cheek gently.

“Sure, because they were too busy being entertained at my expense, and it is all your fault.” I groaned again as my mind replayed the horror.

“Fine, it’s my fault. Let me make it up to you.” He said, his tone suddenly dipping into something darker, more sensual.

“I’m still sore.” I told him softly, a hint of reluctance in my tone.

“Trust me, this is going to feel good, I promise.” He whispered against my lips, placing a soft kiss.

His hands rested on my lower back, his fingers splayed possessively. My body was heating up, and I was sure he could feel it through the thin cotton of my clothes.

“Okay.” I nodded, eyes locked on his.

The shirt I was wearing had slipped slightly off my shoulder, baring the delicate curve of my collarbone.

Lucian placed a kiss on the exposed part.

1 shifted at the sensation the action brought me, my bare hips brushed against him in a way that made him suck in a breath, sharp and barely restrained.

Our eyes met, mine were heavy-lidded and teasing, while his dark were burning with something deeper than desire. His

thumb grazed my jaw, tilting my face toward his.

“I hate when you walk around the mansion in this,” he said, his finger playing with the helm of the shirt. But I have to admit, you’re going to be the death of me, wearing this.” He murmured, voice rough.

Then he kissed me.

It wasn’t gentle. It was the kind of kiss that came with a familiar memory, the echo of last night still alive between us. His mouth claimed mine with quiet urgency, lips parting mine as his tongue swept in, tasting, demanding.

I responded without hesitation, my fingers curling into the back of his hair, my nails grazing his scalp. My hips rolled against him, unconsciously filled with need, he groaned into my mouth at the action, the sound ripping from deep within his chest.

The kiss deepened, raw and consuming. Every brush of our lips against each other and every flicker of tongues, carried the ache of last night and the promise of more. His hands slid lower, gripping my thighs, his thumbs began to stroke upward beneath the hem of his shirt, seeking skin, seeking me.

When he finally broke the kiss, we were both breathing hard, his lips were red and slightly swollen, while my eyes were dazed.

“Desk.” He said roughly, voice thick with hunger.

“Huh?” I blinked, confused, flushed and breathless, but he was already lifting me.

My legs instinctively wrapped around his waist as he stood, he moved his laptop out of the way in one fluid movement and placed me on his desk. Papers scattered around as the cool wood met the backs of my bare thighs.

Then he sat back down, adjusting his chair, lowering it until he was satisfied.

My breath caught the moment he grabbed my thighs pulling me to the edge, my palm met the cool, polished wood of the desk with a smack not expecting the sudden action. The edge of the desk dug gently into my thighs, grounding me, even as the heat in his eyes threatened to burn me.

He stayed there for a second, sitting between my spread legs, just looking at me. His intense look made me shy. I fought the urge to close my legs.

He was looking at me like he was trying to commit me to memory. It wasn’t like I looked my best, I still had messy bed hair and the flush on my cheeks still lingered. His shirt was hanging off my tiny frame like it belonged there, like I did.

I guess those are the little things that were driving him insane.

Lucian hooked his fingers beneath the hem, slowly pushing the shirt up, revealing the soft curve of my waist, the cold air from the air conditioner hit my exposed stomach and the delicate dip of my navel, making me shiver.

He kissed each inch he uncovered, soft, worshipful kisses that contrasted with the tension humming within him. I could feel it in the way his fingers gripped my thighs, in the way his breath faltered just before his lips found my skin again.

“You’re unreal,” he murmured in a low voice, rough with need, his words ghosting over my skin. “You taste just like last night, maybe even better.”

My breath quickened.

My fingers slid into his hair as his mouth moved lower, gently brushing over the inside of my thigh in a featherlight touch, it was maddening.

He kissed me there, again and again, until my legs trembled around his shoulders.

My hands tightened around his hair in anticipation.
