Ariana found the crowd chattering around her rather annoying, especially when she heard them asking if Lambert had been admitted to the hospital because of some hidden ailments. Her feelings were quite difficult to express.

She stood before Lambert and said, ice-cold and harsh, "I'm sorry everyone, Lambert just left the hospital and is not in a condition to be interviewed!"

"May I ask Mrs. Stone, can you tell us why Mr. Stone was suddenly admitted to the hospital?"

Lambert pulled Ariana into his arms and said indifferently, "Aren't all of you a bit too overexcited and perhaps, starving? You shouldn't have surrounded a hospital door even if you want to interview!"

As he finished, he glanced pointedly at a "Please Do Not Make Noise" sign near the hospital's entrance. The reporters were stunned and speechless, knowing that if noise complaints from the hospital made the news, they could face public condemnation.

A reporter still tried to push on, "Mr. Stone, we kindly request an early reply. Our deepest apologies for any shortcomings."

On the surface, Ariana appeared unaffected, but internally, she had some contempt for these reporters.

Someone has paid these reporters to get their scoops. How much of the information they published could actually be true?

Sensing the growing displeasure in Ariana, Lambert put his arm around her and led her towards the car.

The reporters wanted to follow but were blocked by the bodyguards.

Ariana looked around before settling her gaze on Aster. Today's events were either instigated by Khloe, or it was a plot by Aster.

She coughed lightly, and asked in a pretended casual tone, "What happened? Anything wrong?"

Jolene quickly gave Ariana a look, indicating not to speak.

Ariana immediately understood what was happening and covertly glanced at Lambert, whose face was still as calm as ever.

Lambert walked to the side and sat down casually, asking lightly, "What's the matter?"

"What's the matter?" Old Mr. Stone slammed the document in his hand onto the table with a smack, asking with a cold face, "Take a look at this!"

Upon hearing this, Lambert frowned and picked up the material on the table. Inside were all photos of him discussing business with the CEOs of the rival groups that the Stone family had been competing with for years.

His eyebrows arching slightly, he queried, "What does this prove?"

Next to him, Khloe stoked the flames, exclaiming, "Lambert… How could you do such a thing? These people are all sworn enemies of our Stone family!"

These groups had done many bad things to suppress the Stone Group.

Since Old Mr. Stone's youth, the Stone Group has always been at odds with them, never exchanging a word even at business dinners.

With a smirk, Lambert responded, "Sworn enemies? In the business world, if there are benefits, we are friends. If there are harms, we are enemies! My cooperation with them does not harm the Stone Group."
