Stefan quietly looked at Lambert for a while, then turned his head and said to his wife, "Ignore him, the guy's gone mad recently."

Allison blinked her eyes and expressed her confusion, "I am not paying him any attention though."

Stefan: "..." My dear wife, can't you give him a break?

Ariana found their interaction quite amusing. However, she dared not laugh out loud, afraid that her hubby, Lambert, who was already on the edge, would be totally annoyed. She cleared her throat and said, "After the wedding, take a leave from school and rest to nurture the pregnancy. You can return to school after the baby is born."

Luckily, Stefan's family was quite liberal. They were okay with the baby being raised in the main house after being born.

Lambert was not pleased with his friend's crude words, "The children of the Stone family will not be married off. If you have a daughter, marry her to my son or if it's a son, marry him to my daughter. With the influence of me and Ariana, we might be able to affect the genes of the third generation."

With those statements, Stefan stayed silent, Stefan rose from his seat, and Stefan started to roll up his sleeves.

Allison in horror grabbed her husband hurriedly, "Calm down."

Stefan coldly replied, "Let go of me. I must beat him today or I can't swallow this anger."

Frantically Allison cried, "Don't be impulsive, you can't beat him."

This meal turned out to be quite delightful. Although there were some minor hiccups in the middle, they were just joking around. They all knew where to draw the line, so the atmosphere during the meal was rather good.

Towards the later parts of the meal, Stefan and Lambert mostly discussed work-related matters.

And Allison was chatting with Ariana about children-related topics.

After about two hours of eating, they finally finished their meal.

Allison looked at the three of them and made a suggestion: "Where should we go next? How about we all head to the maternity and infant store to buy some stuff the baby will need in the future? FYI, Stefan and I have yet to buy anything."

Upon hearing this, Ariana expressed genuine interest by nodding, "That's a great idea. As a godmother, I should indeed purchase some stuff for my future godson. Don't you think so, Lambert?"

Lambert naturally had no objections.
