A shade of maliciousness and chill swiftly passed over Old Mr. Stone's usually indifferent face, he scoffed emotionlessly, “You must have forgotten, that child is illegitimate. Originally, I didn't mind raising him as he is, but who would have thought a nourished tiger would become calamity? Even though you have always been at the old house, I believe you’re well aware of what’s been happening to the Stones. Our family has laid down deep roots in the city for many years without any scandal. Yet this time, a wretched scandal has broken out, all because of Lambert!
