Ariana chuckled, "I don't believe she is still in touch with Vincent, even if she is, he might not believe her."

Ariana didn't believe that Lambert would randomly call her for no reason.

"Did something happen last night?" She was stunned for a second and asked subconsciously.

According to Vincent's description of Lambert, the Stone family doesn't seem to have a good impression of Lambert.

The heart-wrenching screams of rage brought an inexplicable pleasure to Ariana. Suddenly, Jane managed to break free and run out of the room, furiously lunging at Ariana and grabbing her by the throat.

Jane, eyes red and filled with anger and madness, yelled: "Ariana, how dare you say I'm mentally ill!"

Ariana snorted, luckily, Jane had been struggling for a long time, she had no strength at all. So Ariana was able to break free from her grip with ease, while people from behind restrained Jane.

Just as Ariana was about to fight back, she was suddenly shoved hard out of the way. Lambert managed to hold Jane's hand that was wielding the scalpel.

"Lambert! I knew you and Ariana had something going on! You pair of bastards!"

Jane saw that the person who saved Ariana was him, and she started struggling like a madwoman.

Lambert frowned slightly, not wanting to engage more with this madwoman, he forcibly took the scalpel from her and shoved Jane away abruptly.

The doctor seized the opportunity and immediately rushed over to inject Jane with a tranquilizer. She soon fell unconscious.

Lambert angrily glared at Ariana and said in a stern voice, "Ariana, do you have a death wish?"

Ariana was surprised at the sudden appearance of Lambert, but after hearing his stern tone, she retorted coolly, "This is none of your business and how come you're here?"

Her heart pounded, her expression stiffening slightly, "You… how did you know I intentionally let Jane hurt me?"

Lambert gave a mocking smirk, "I initially thought you were smart. Turns out you’re just a foolish woman who's all bark and no bite."

Just as Ariana was about to retort, she caught sight of his arm drenched in blood. The blood trickled down his slender fingers and onto the ground.
