After Ariana answered perfectly according to the requirements, she sat back in her seat with a dark face.

This Lambert always looked for opportunities to prick her in all sorts of ways and embarrass her.

She could only reply to Allison's message at the end of class, but Allison said someone was already waiting at the door.

Ariana was stunned, but since the person was already there, Ariana could not refuse to see him.

Seeing Ariana packing up her stuff at a rather fast pace, Lambert narrowed his eyes.

When Ariana arrived at the school gate, she immediately saw a tall and handsome guy wearing clothes that gave off a Korean style.

His back was to Ariana, presumably waiting for someone.

Ariana was momentarily stunned, then she carefully asked, "Xavier?"

Upon hearing her voice, the handsome guy turned around to face her. Seeing that it was Ariana, he greeted politely, "Hello, senior sis."

His clear and gentle voice was refreshingly polite and had a trace of accent that made him inexplicably adorable.

When Ariana saw the handsome guy's face, she choked a bit, cursing internally.

Isn't he a freshman student?

She often heard girls mention him. This handsome guy was born good-looking and due to his polite attitude the girls call him 'Little Angel.'

Ariana's smile became stiff, and she said sadly, "Hello, just wait for a moment, I need to speak a few words with Allison first."

Xavier Hill nodded faintly, "Alright."

She quickly turned around and sent a message to Allison.

Ariana: You!! Are you trying to get me killed or what? Why did you pick a freshman? Do you know how popular Xavier Hill is among the girls? This is like plotting a murder!

She sent several crying emojis, but none could express her frustration.

Ariana could not bear the thought of being seen dating a freshman. She felt that people would consider her a wicked senior who is seducing young boys.

Allison sent a nose-picking emoji and said: That's exactly the reaction I wanted. I think Lambert is almost thirty years old, right? Let him know that he can't compare to these youthful boys! Also, Xavier is from Korea. You can pretend to be a brainless fan of Korean culture. This would definitely draw men away.

"What!.."

Ariana trembled when she saw Allison mention the young lad. She didn't know whether to cry or laugh at her current situation.

If she did as Allison suggested and got on Lambert's nerves, she's sure it wouldn't end well.

Lambert was typically an eye-for-an-eye kind of person.

Ariana thought carefully and decided not to deal with Lambert like this. Just when she wanted to apologize to Xavier, she saw him looking in her direction.

She subconsciously wanted to turn back and look, but Xavier reached out and placed his on her shoulder, "Sorry, but, Professor Stone is behind you."

Ariana was a little stunned, thinking of what happened in the classroom earlier, she hooked up her lips and held Xavier's arm, "Then this time, I can only rely on you."

Standing behind Ariana, Lambert saw her being so close to Xavier. His cold eyes deepened, and he turned around and left.

Xavier said to her, "He's gone."

She was somewhat satisfied when she heard that Lambert didn't follow her.

However, she still had to play her part. Lambert was smart. If he gets someone to follow her and finds out it's all just an act, it will be even more difficult to get rid of him in the future.

She asked Xavier, "Have you driven here?"

Originally, she wanted to marry Lambert out of mutual benefit, but she never expected that it would become a bondage to herself.

Seeing the woman's irritation, Lambert didn't immediately start the car. He smirked at her and rolled up the car window.

She couldn't help but ask, "Lambert, where is he?"

Ariana was referring to Xavier. Albeit she knew Xavier had definitely left, she had no idea how he left.

Lambert slightly raised his eyebrows, questioning, "Why, do you still worry about him?"

Her heart skipped a beat, "What do you mean?"

Lambert responded, "If you don't want to invite unnecessary trouble, it's better not to try to be too clever, unless you want to make it impossible for him to stay."

"Did you threaten him?"

Ariana's first thought was that Lambert had used his power to intimidate Xavier, or perhaps Xavier's family.

The moment she thought of Lambert being that kind of person, she couldn't sit still, her face turned gloomy as she said, "Lambert, I can't believe you would do such a thing!"

Originally, Ariana thought Lambert was a little different. But, she never expected that he was also the type of person who would disregard the feelings of others to get what he wanted.

Seeing that she misunderstood him, Lambert faintly smiled, "Is that what you think?"

Just as Ariana was about to scold him, her phone suddenly rang. She quickly unlocked her phone, it was a text message from Xavier. He was apologizing for not being able to help her and expressing his hope that she could make up with her boyfriend soon.

She was taken aback. It sounded like she had quarreled with Lambert and was acting out to make Lambert jealous.

Ariana questioned Lambert, "What did you say to him?"
