If Han Dong knew someone was thinking about marrying him, he’d probably be scared out of his wits.
When he got home, he saw Zhao Yingjun across the hall, hurriedly carrying things out in front, his wife Su Jinxiu had already given birth to a big chubby boy, and the couple’s irritations from Su Miao had vanished along with her departure.
Han Dong watched his back with a slight frown, truly an incorrigible fellow. To even lay hands on his wife’s niece is beastly.
But thinking it had nothing to do with him, he paid it no more attention.
Back home, Han Dong naturally first endured a scolding from his dad and mom, which he was long used to, responding with a cheeky smile.
Tian Jinhua said: "During the New Year, you’re not allowed to go out. Uncle Yang is coming back to celebrate."
Han Dong frowned: "What does Uncle Yang coming back for the New Year have to do with me? I don’t know him."
"How old are you this New Year? He’s coming back for Tiantian’s marriage arrangements, that girl..."
Not waiting for her to finish, Han Dong just said he was tired and went into his room, truly annoying! Ever since he turned twenty-two, every meeting seemed to have this alone. That Yang Tiantian is even more nauseating, he absolutely does not want her!
Tian Jinhua sighed helplessly, glancing at her husband.
Han Jinshan didn’t care, flipping through the newspaper, he had long been resigned to this son.
"You heartless thing, your son is like this and you don’t care? Yang Tiantian’s family background isn’t bad. Don’t you talk it over with your son? Do you want him unmarried for life?" Tian Jinhua said.
Han Jinshan slightly frowned: "The background is good, but she’s been spoiled by her parents beyond recognition."
"Isn’t that because something happened to Yang Family’s second child? Then they spoiled their eldest daughter a bit more."
"A bit?" Han Jinshan snorted: "She’s almost worshipped like an ancestor, with terrible character and morals. Yang Bingtao had some abilities in his life, but it’s a pity his daughter was spoiled rotten. Let me state this first, I don’t want a daughter-in-law like that." He got up, tossed the newspaper aside, and went into the room.
Tian Jinhua tidied up the newspaper, also sighed, and thought Yang Family had indeed been through some tragedies back then, otherwise, they wouldn’t have overcompensated with Tiantian, ending up like this.
Things weren’t too harmonious here, but the household across, Zhao Yingjun’s family, was getting along well.
Su Jinxiu was gently rocking her baby; for her, everything was sufficient with a son. Since she had given birth to the boy, her position was very stable, and she no longer worried about Zhao Yingjun divorcing her.
Su Miao had left anyway, so things were quite peaceful recently. She wasn’t checking on Zhao Yingjun as strictly as before, intending to get out of bed to greet him when she saw him return.
Zhao Yingjun appeared indifferent, glancing at his wife only to shift his eyes away. Due to the pregnancy, Su Jinxiu had developed many butterfly spots on her forehead and arms, and her figure had become particularly plump, entirely losing her previous elegance and beauty.
He held her shoulders: "Rest up. No need to get out of bed." Then glanced at his son’s face: "How’s the kid today? Sleeping well?"
"Sleeping and eating, pretty much. He’s doing good." Su Jinxiu smiled and said, "He’s been thinking about Daddy all day."
