Just as she was coming out of the field office, Yunyi saw Ye Wenhui standing not far away.

Yunyi approached. "Sister Wenhui, what are you doing here?"

Ye Wenhui reached out and poked her forehead. "Didn’t I tell you to just call me Sister? Forget ’Sister Wenhui.’ I *am* your biological sister."

Yunyi didn’t react immediately. When Ye Wenhui saw she hadn’t understood, she clarified, "You know, the woman who switched you and Ye Wenjuan in the delivery room back then."

Yunyi hadn’t expected the world to be so small. She hadn’t met Qin Lijuan yet but was now going to meet her son first. "Why are you telling me this?" she asked. "Did something happen?"

Ye Wenhui frowned. "I received a call from home this morning. The situation with Qin Lijuan has become quite serious. Her mother’s family and her husband’s family have been pulling a lot of strings to try and get her a lighter sentence. The main thing is, they somehow found out you’re doing your rural assignment here at Hua’an Farm Reclamation.
