“Dammit… Ronnie muttered angrily.

He held back when he noticed Bianca was still there.

Bianca was hoping Emily and Ronnie would start a fight. After all, Ronnie had plenty of women who secretly admired him. Plus, he was Glenn’s prized student, and Bianca knew Glenn was fiercely protective. If Emily offended Ronnie, it was like offending Glenn.

“Ronnie, are you okay? I’m sorry, it’s my fault. If you want to blame someone, blame me!” Bianca anxiously tried to check where Ronnie had been hit.

She reached out to touch Ronnie’s face but quickly pulled her hand back, realizing it was inappropriate. She hurriedly apologized.

Ronnie’s anger dissipated immediately because of Bianca’s words. He sighed softly, “It’s not your fault. How could I ever blame you?”

Bianca looked deeply moved, her eyes filled with tears as she turned to Emily. “Emily, how could you just hit someone like that? If you’re angry, take it out on me. Ronnie was only trying to help me… I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you hated me so much that you’d take it out on the people around me.”

Emily sneered coldly, “You’re right. You are the real culprit. So, are you admitting that the posts about me at school were orchestrated by Ronnie under your orders?”

A flash of panic crossed Bianca’s eyes, but she quickly started crying. “What posts? What does Ronnie have to do with them? Are you really going to pin all these baseless accusations on him?”

Emily’s eyes were icy as she suddenly pulled out several photos and flung them at Bianca. “Still denying it?”

“Watch out!”

Ronnie thought Emily was going to hit Bianca and rushed over to shield her.

The photos grazed Ronnie’s face, leaving a long scratch.

“Ronnie, your face!” Bianca exclaimed in shock when she saw the injury.

“Emily, what are you doing? Attacking someone at school!” Lavinia was alarmed when she saw Ronnie’s injury. It happened right in her office. If Ronnie went back to the computer science department with that face, Glenn would surely blame her.

Emily’s cold gaze was like winter frost as she looked at Lavinia. “I respect you as a teacher, which is why I’ve tolerated you repeatedly. Don’t push your luck. Don’t tell me you didn’t see that he ran into the photos himself.”

Lavinia was embarrassed by Emily’s words. “You… you… you…” She pointed at Emily’s face, her eyes filled with venom. “Today, I’ll teach you how to respect your elders!”

She raised her hand to slap Emily.

Bianca’s pupils contracted, but a hint of excitement flashed in her eyes.

Ronnie’s face remained cold, showing no sympathy.

Only Lily picked up the photos from the ground and began examining them. The more she looked, the more her brows furrowed, and her expression kept changing. But everyone else was too preoccupied to notice.

“Stop right there! Let’s see who dares to bully my student.” A commanding voice rang out from the doorway.

Kurt entered, followed by two others.

“Mr. Owens!”

Lavinia wasn’t very familiar with Kurt, but she couldn’t afford not to recognize Bobby’s face. Her attention immediately shifted to Bobby

behind Kurt.

Lavinia quickly withdrew her hand and greeted them with a trembling voice.

“You were about to hit my student, weren’t you?” Kurt questioned Lavinia coldly.

Emily was taken aback. She hadn’t even joined the physics department yet, so when did she become his student?

Kurt winked and smiled at Emily. “From the moment you gave me those papers and research topics, you became my student.”

Lavinia finally recognized Kurt. Her mind raced, and she realized Kurt’s identity. Combining his words with Emily’s phone call, Lavinia was shocked. Emily had actually managed to bring Kurt from the physics department.

But wasn’t Kurt supposed to be eccentric, only valuing research and genius students? How did he take a liking to Emily?

*Kurt, you misunderstood. Emily is just too unruly. Are you really agreeing to let her transfer to your department?” Lavinia quickly suppressed her doubts and explained, “Emily has poor character. I don’t know what methods she used to get your approval to transfer, but I still want to advise you to reconsider.”

Kurt frowned. He didn’t immediately question Emily. Instead, he defended her, “Are you saying I can’t recognize talent? I find Emily smart and focused, not at all like the person you describe. Are you all bullying her, ganging up on her?”

Bianca, who also knew Kurt, was horrified by his and Emily’s words. How could Emily successfully transfer to the physics department? She might be somewhat clever, but how could she gain Kurt’s favor? Bianca felt something slipping out of her control, making her uneasy.

She quickly stepped forward to explain, “Mr. Lowe, you misunderstood. No one is bullying Emily. We’re all concerned for her, trying to advise her not to skip classes and stay out late. We’re worried about her, but she seems to reject our advice, which has led to some conflicts.”

She skillfully shifted the blame onto Emily.

Ronnie chimed in, “Mr. Lowe, Emily is malicious. She even schemes against her own sister. Your research data is crucial. I think you shouldn’t accept a student like her.”

To add weight to his argument, he said, “There are posts on the school website about her malicious behavior…”

“Ronnie, stop talking.”

Lavinia knew Emily had evidence and quickly intervened. She then addressed Kurt, “You heard it yourself. It’s not me making things difficult for her. She has a bad nature, and everyone has a poor impression of her. It must be her fault.”
