Reborn: The Tyrant's Obsession novel Chapter 135

Chapter 135: She would revive the account

The next day.

Towards the outskirts of the city, there was a small restaurant.

Esther pushed the door to a private room and stepped inside.

Inside the room, a person dressed in an all-black outfit was seated and the person’s face was covered by a black scarf.

When Esther locked the door, Jenny tugged off her scarf, "Why have you called me to such a filthy place?" She looked around at the wooden furniture in disdain.

Esther calmly walked over and sat opposite to Jenny, "Do you want the whole world to know that we are meeting in secret?"

Jenny crossed her leg, "You know how much your fiance hates me yet you called me here. I am honestly surprised."

Esther smiled, "Anybody would hate their father’s mistress."

"You..."

Esther tucked her hair behind her ears, "Dean Mo brought you right after their mother’s death and you strut around pretending to be his daughter in front of the whole world. Did you perhaps expect his children to call you mother?"

Jenny pushed herself to her feet, "You can sit by yourself and figure out a plan..."

Just as she turned to leave, Esther spoke up, "Professor Jenny, don’t take these small things to heart. I came to you because we both have a common goal."

Jenny turned to Esther, ’’She might be a target to you but in my eyes, Ella is not a threat." If Ella did not chance upon that secret of hers, she would never have approached Esther all those years ago...

Even before Esther got engaged to Mo Jun, they were dating. She was bound to be a part of the Mo Family and eventually, she would have known the true nature of her relationship with Dean Mo.

Yet, as a part of the Mo Family, she couldn’t have let it out. Even Esther’s parents did not know much about Jenny.

But Ella was different. She was a part of entertainment industry. If she ever spoke, Jenny would have been done for!

That was the only reason Jenny was wary of Ella even when the girl was silent.

Esther looked up at her, "Ella might look harmless but you shouldn’t underestimate her. I don’t know why I have a bad feeling regarding her..."

"What...? What do you mean by that?" Jenny frowned.

Esther did not want to acknowledge it but the feeling in her heart was growing stronger, no matter how much she avoided it, "I feel like Ella is toying with us."

When Esther mentioned that, something flitted in Jenny’s eyes, "She knows I was behind that scandal that ended her career."

Esther stiffened, "Then, does she know I also..."

"I don’t know."

"How could it be?" Esther snapped, "Back then, we had not left a single clue behind. I gave you her whereabouts and you plotted that scandal. She shouldn’t have known..."

Jenny remained silent.

After a few seconds, Esther could no longer sit still. She approached Jenny, ’’We should..."

Jenny pulled her hand out of Esther’s grip, "In no time, Ella would be out of this university and by then, I would get rid of my troubles. I don’t want to do anything."

Esther’s face darkened as Jenny walked away.

But Jenny stopped near the door and looked at Esther from above her shoulder, "I don’t understand one thing. I hate Ella because she knows my secret but what about you? She is your biological sister yet you hate her like an enemy..."

Esther lowered her gaze.

Knowing that she was not going to get an answer, Jenny left.

Esther’s gaze lingered on the delicate flower in the small vase on the table. Ella, Ella, do you even deserve to live?

One by one, I will take away everything you have. Your life, your husband, your existence.

She grabbed the flower and crushed it in her fist till nothing was left of it.

That afternoon, Ella left for her apartment.

Once she was inside, she sat on the couch and quickly logged into her celebrity social.

After a few failed attempts and a series of wrong passwords, she finally managed to log in to her account.
