Chapter 47: Second Master is surprisingly so gentle

Adrian remained unmoved, sitting idly in the backseat. In fact, he even had the leisure to look to the side and stroke the sleeping puppy.

Ji Yan’s eyes nearly popped out. Second Master is surprisingly so gentle.

’’Second Master, I feel like Miss Yu’s younger sister isn’t up to any good. The Second Master tolerated Esther for no other reason than Miss Yu.

Esther was the only person whom Ella cherished and who was there for Ella. So, Adrian never tried to cast her aside in the past.

Ji Yan twitched his lips and looked away bitterly. Second Master, this is the second time you are saying this... Must you be so delusional to think that the relationship between you and Miss Yu is that unbreakable?

Suddenly,the look in Adrian’s eyes changed and the aura around him turned sharper.

Ji Yan shivered, ’’S..Second Master?"

Ji Yan was shocked. Didn’t you just say nobody could come between the both of you? What’s with the trust issues now?

Adrian propped the side of his head on his fingers as he looked forward nonchalantly, ’’A month before, everything she did, everyone she met and all that she went before. I want to know it all.’’

’’But Second Master, you already know it all... I will start working on it right away,’’ Ji Yan gulped, almost burned by the laser gaze.

After Adrian left, Ella couldn’t sleep immediately.

She tossed and turned on the bed for a long time and barely dozed off around 5 am.

And consequently, she was late for the classes the next day.

’’Stop right there!"

Ella halted in her tracks. The three other late comers rushed to their respective seats without any hassle.
