Ella slowly turned to the Old Madam, ’’Grandma, why don’t you try it as well?"

Old Madam finally snapped out of her daze. Looking at her aloof grandson displaying traces of warmth and emotions, her eyes trembled a little.

She looked at Ella, a hint of softness in her eyes as she shook her head, ’’I cannot take spice as well. Moreover, I just had your cookies and brownie. They were delicious. Since Little Ian has peeled them for you, you try it.’’

Ella picked up a fork, took a bite, and her eyes lit up. "It’s so flavorful."
