With a loud crash, the door slammed against the wall and bounced back. A hand stopped it, and right after that, Lucas stormed in, his face full of rage.

Lydia frowned, her face darkening with displeasure. “You…”

She was just about to say something when she saw Gale, Emma, and Andrew bursting in, flustered and anxious. Even Vincent, who had only just parted ways with her, followed close behind.

Lydia immediately masked her annoyance, putting on a pitiful, frightened look. “Lucas, what are you doing?”

Lucas stormed over, his anger barely contained, and flung the documents right in her face like a slap. “Lydia, you lying snake. How much longer are you planning to keep us in the dark?”

Hearing his words and seeing the uncertain looks on the rest of the Bennett Family, Lydia’s heart suddenly dropped. She opened the file in her hands and saw that it was full of DNA test reports about her.

‘Cale’s been missing for almost two months now. Where did they get his DNA from?’ Lydia wondered to herself. ‘Did Lucas have something to do with Cale’s disappearance?

‘Does he also know about the secret Cale holds-the one that could completely destroy me?’ In just a split second, Lydia’s mind was racing with questions.

Over the past few years, they have consistently favored Lydia, the impostor, and repeatedly hurt Emily, whom they had cherished like a precious gem for eighteen years before her.
